Everyone’s still hyped up about the second season of Squid Games. So is The Secret Haven, which is why the team has brought its hugely successful localised iteration for another round. The venue is transformed into a game arena, where diners gotta participate in activities based on local childhood toys and games. Sotong Game 2 is designed as an immersive dining experience, but don’t worry – you won’t be fighting over rations. Each person is entitled to a three-course dinner inspired by actual meals and food items as spotted in the show. Just don’t use the cutlery to unalive anyone…

Originating from Jakarta, this food event finally lands in Singapore for a one-night-only pop-up at Duxton. Here’s your chance to witness chefs Rachel Tjahja and Ryan Kim hard at work with a nine-course menu that showcases their takes on East Asian flavours and seasonal ingredients. If you still have stomach space, we highly recommend getting the crowd favourite nasi goreng (if it’s available) as an add-on. You’ll probably regret over stuffing yourself afterwards, but it’s more than worth it.

10. Singapore Restaurant Week 2025
March, April, October & November
Not much is revealed about these epicurean events (they’re as elusive as Mariah Carey), but if anything, we say note these down in your cal. The spring edition typically runs between March and April, while the autumn round takes place during the final quarter of the year. “Serious foodies” (whatever that means to you) can dine at restaurants across the island and vote for their favourites based on the categories the establishments have submitted themselves into. Keep a lookout for all the creative dishes the participating spots have come up with.
Singapore Restaurant Week 2025, price to be confirmed, various timings; multiple locations including Apero and Kaarla
