Drim Gold lands at Weave at Resorts World Sentosa, and is set to impress with cave-like architecture, premium meat cuts and fresh seafood.
Singapore’s sunny island of Sentosa is home to white beaches, world-class attractions, and now, its first and only Korean restaurant, Drim Gold. If the brand name sounds familiar, you’re not mistaken. Drim’s flagship store landed in Mandarin Gallery in 2023, and this second location at Weave at Resorts World Sentosa is said to be bigger and bolder. With shiny promises of an immersive cave-inspired interior, rare meat cuts and fresh seafood, I made my way to this new restaurant in Singapore to see if it’s worth a trip.

Modern hanok meets cave-like architecture

First impressions matter and Drim Gold’s imposing exterior instantly makes a strong one. You can’t miss the traditional wooden hanok elements, sculpted rock walls and layered stones. But, after entering through the cave-like passageway, the dining area itself was a bit of a letdown.
Instead of the ‘cave-esque’ ambience I was expecting, the interior felt more conventional – save for a few feature walls with stone sculptures and warm timbers. Yes, there are cave-like elements, but don’t get your hopes up for a fully immersive cave atmosphere.
If you’ve been to Drim’s Mandarin Gallery location, the capacity at Weave beats it by miles. Choose from a variety of seating options, including counter bar seats for solo diners and couples, spacious square tables for groups, and private rooms for special occasions.
Premium Korean meat cuts on the grill
Drim Gold is a steakhouse, so of course, we have to spotlight the meat cuts. The Drim brand’s menu expands with rarer additions like Hanwoo beef and succulent Jeju black pork.
As a specialty cut that only recently found its way to Singapore, Hanwoo beef stands out for its fine marbling, more robust flavour and chewier texture. Other premium cuts on the menu include Iberico boneless ribs, USDA prime short rib and Australian wagyu.

After placing your order, the staff will expertly grill the meats at your table and share recommendations on how to best enjoy them. On my plate was the Hanwoo special cut of the month (at market price).
Grilled to medium, the meat was nicely seared on the outside with a bouncy, buttery mouthfeel. My personal favourite way to savour this was with a pinch of salt to cut through the richness.
I also tried the Drim prime cut, which features juicy Iberico boneless ribs. While it was a fattier and richer cut, it didn’t feel cloying – especially when enjoyed with the accompanying greens.
Fill up on seafood specialties and traditional fare

Drim Gold is not just for carnivores. The wide variety of fresh seafood delicacies will entice any pescatarian. I’m talking about freshly shucked oysters, grilled Korean eel, and caviar served with gamtae seaweed and buckwheat pancake.
My favourite? The fresh scampi with kimchi ($77) served on a bed of ice. I loved how the sweet scampi was creatively paired with a umami-rich kimchi XO sauce to balance out the natural brininess. It’s definitely a splurge at this price point, so I’d reserve this dish for an occasional indulgence.

Another popular pick is the butter-grilled Jeju abalone ($88). While I appreciated the tenderness and freshness of the abalone, it unfortunately fell short on the flavour front. Coupled with the hefty price tag, I would skip this next time.

If you’re in the mood for traditional Korean cuisine, go for the beef and vegetable hot pot ($138), ideal for two to three. Hanwoo beef brisket, beef shank, alongside a medley of mushrooms and vegetables, come simmered in a clear beef broth. I recommend ordering this if you prefer a comforting dish that’s lighter on the palate.
Korean buckwheat noodles are another classic, and Drim’s version is made from 100% pure, additive-free buckwheat for a cleaner tasting dish. Order the Drim signature noodles ($33), a refreshing bowl that’s tossed in fragrant perilla seed oil with a strong, earthy flavour profile.
Korean dining taken up a fancy notch

From its eye-catching interior to premium offerings, Drim Gold is all set to impress. Every detail feels thoughtfully composed and curated, while the attentive service adds a warm layer of hospitality that completes the experience – and understandably demands a heftier price-point.
More of a fancy dining destination, Drim Gold isn’t your average Korean restaurant in Singapore. I’ll be keeping it in my repertoire of restaurants for special occasions, or show-stopping spots to bring overseas friends while exploring Sentosa.
Psst: if you’re curious to drop by, don’t miss the restaurant’s opening promotion! Enjoy a complimentary Hanwoo tasting experience per person with any barbecue order; valid from now till 28 February 2026 (T&Cs apply).
