What is Dopamine Land?

You can think of Dopamine Land as our much beloved TeamLab Future World exhibition at the Artscience Museum – except it’s bigger with way more zones to explore! The interactive museum is a love letter to dopamine, the happy hormone we’re always chasing. Optical illusions, soundscapes, and nine themed rooms await to offer a symphony of sensations. It’s a sensory overload in the best way possible.
Key zones you must visit
1. Colourtopia

Consider Colourtopia your very own technicolour daydream! Visitors consider this one of the best rooms in the experience, so take your time exploring everything. It’ll be like walking into a painting covered in a full-blown neon glow.
2. Scribblescape

Say goodbye to all the rules in Scribblescape. While other exhibitions might require you to keep everything clean and pristine, you can unleash your inner child and doodle all over the room without getting into trouble! It’s especially fun if you’re bringing your tots along because they can be as expressive as they want.
3. Neon Nebula

Did someone say ball pit? Expect hundreds of bright neon balloons filling up the space. We expect this room to be full of chaos as kids and adults alike throw balloons around. The cascading hues will energise both your body and mind thanks to the visual and tactile euphoria. Keep an eye out for your little ones, cause it’s easy to get lost in this place!
4. Cave of Tactility

You know how museums tell you to never touch the exhibit? Yeah, that’s not happening here. The Cave of Tactility stimulates curiosity and self-expression for all ages. If you’re feeling particularly overstimulated, linger in this room a little longer to enjoy the soft walls and bouncy cubes.
5. Chromodance

If you’ve got energy to burn, show off your dance moves at Chromodance. It’s the best room for you to let loose and have a dance off or capture videos with your friends for the memories. Unlike a club, this vibrant and low-pressure space lets you forget about adulting for a bit. The pulsing lights and explosive colours create an electric atmosphere – almost like a real disco.
6. Sunset Lagoon

Oh look, another ball pit! With the backdrop of a sunset to set the tone, this golden-hued zone captures that golden hour magic over a tranquil lake. Based on reviews, this room seems to be the most mellow of the bunch. It’s good for unwinding but may come off a little underwhelming if you’re looking for more dynamic and energetic activities.
7. Cushion Clash

Arm yourselves, it’s a pillow fight zone! This inflatable room will be your battlefield, and a cushion, your sword and shield. Expect tons of laughter and jumping as part of this experience. Beware the whacks to the face and body! You may find some of the cushions and inflatables a little grubby, so we recommend having some hand sanitiser on you to clean up a little after your fun.
8. Euphoria Grove

A floor of bean bags with a forest-like design, this immersive space takes you through the four seasons in the forest. Sit through the soft light of spring to the quiet introspection of winter. It’s soothing and inspiring, invoking dopamine in a subtler way.
9. Cosmic Oasis

Your best photo op is here! Step into an infinite universe of light, colour, and reflection. This field of stars shifts as you move along with it, and is surprisingly meditative. It’s not the most activity-filled or interactive space, but it’s one of the rooms that’ll be the most memorable.
