What is Crumb & Go?

Think of Crumb & Go as the Mary-Kate to Tiong Bahru Bakery’s Ashley Olsen: similar in looks, but with subtle distinctions to make the takeaway concept stand out (and apart) from the flagship. A refreshed font and colour palette, and adorable doodle art can be found here, while the lighting fixture and floor tiles are more modern.
The best part about this new extension is that it’s located directly in front of the bus stop at Block 55. This means you can pop in, grab a sandwich or coffee, and make it in time for the bus. Have some time to spare? Browse through the curated collection, and you might just find something you’d like. (Or take our lead and prioritise this spot. Your other appointments can wait.)
What’s on the menu?

If you’re feeling peckish but unable to have a proper sit-down meal, Crumb & Go can sort you out. Here, you can find pre-packaged sandwiches and salads ($10.90), along with bottled beverages (from $4.80), granola ($8.50), and a selection of the bakery’s popular viennoiseries. The line-up includes classics and new treats such as the buttery hot honey and parmesan shio pan ($4.91), flaky pain au chocolat ($5.12), and indulgent sea salt focaccia ($8.18).
Prefer a hot drink to perk up your mornings or keep you warm this monsoon season? Hit up the coffee bar! Get your fill of caffeine (coffee or brewed teas) in regular or large, or try the iced version. Swap out regular milk for alternatives like soy, oat, or coconut milk.

Oh, while you’re at it, be sure to add the croissant butter (original, $12) to your order. Or a bag of ‘TBB Blend’ coffee beans that boast a buttery body with dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and cherry notes. Perfect for aspiring baristas, avid coffee drinkers, or as a housewarming (or Christmas) gift.
P.S. Exclusives like the kouign amann soft serve and coffee slushies (prices TBD) will be available here from January 2026.
What treasures await in the gift shop?

Crumb & Go’s second key zone is the gift shop, which takes up two-thirds of the space. It’s a treasure trove of official merchandise, exclusive and limited-quantity products from vendor partners in Asia, and a curated list of seasonal lifestyle items.
Let’s start with the TBB merch, which consists of apparel and wearables, home goods, and accessories. Snatch the crew T-shirt in French vanilla creme ($56) so you can show off your love for Tiong Bahru Bakery. Bonus points for the pun at the back of the tee.
If you prefer something a little more understated, you’ll find the slogan T-shirts ($65) and snapback caps ($35) featuring quirky phrases like “kampung kouign” and “tres shiok”, and socks ($12) are up your alley.

What else is available? Exclusive items such as yellow striped tote bags ($40) reminiscent of Longchamp’s Le Pliage Tote, The Bahru 56 room spray ($15) and candle ($20) with matcha, sesame, and bitter orange notes, scarves ($28), adorable chocolate eclair and lemon tart plushies ($18.50).
Also spotted: iron-on patches (from $4), stickers ($5.50), the green and white striped reusable bag ($35), and bag charms ($8). There are plenty of ways to let everyone know you’re a die-hard fan! If apparel and accessories aren’t enough, there’s more to discover…
Anything else worth a look?

On top of official merch, Crumb & Go has partnered with Of Wonder Wander, an agency known for conceptualising design-led retail experiences. The curation features local and international brands that showcase craftsmanship, fun, and practicality in everyday products.
Those who appreciate the whimsy will fall in love with the laser-printed butter lamp ($74.10) and the Onio lamp ($129.70) in the bakery’s pandan green shade, created by local wares store Isho Labo. Dangerous for your lamp, but recommended for your sanity! Homegrown florist Studio Wilt worked with Of Wonder Wander to come up with one-of-a-kind preserved floral arrangements, which will look great in any part of your home.
Speaking of your abode, peep at the handcrafted pottery pieces by Singaporean brand DaybyDae. There are five limited-edition ceramic cups and an incense holder, which come in various doodle designs and thicknesses.

For a quieter, more thoughtful find, there’s Assistant to the Assistant Chef, an interview zine packed with anecdotes from people who cook professionally. It digs into the moments that made them say “yes, chef”. Who knows, it might even awaken a latent desire to spend more time in the kitchen… or at least think more deeply about the food you love.
Is Crumb & Go worth the stop?

All in all, Crumb & Go ate and left no crumbs. The new concept feels like a natural extension of the Tiong Bahru Bakery universe. Designed for those on the move, it offers a convenient way to pick up your favourite bites while discovering thoughtfully curated lifestyle finds.
Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or browsing for gifts, it’s worth popping by if you’re in the Tiong Bahru neighbourhood. Your taste buds (maybe not your wallet) will thank you.
