Dive into the world of craft beers and ciders at the Beerlicious festival at Kult Kafe on Emily Hill
Craft beer lovers in Singapore are a lucky lot with our handful of local microbreweries and craft beer bars. If you’ve tried them all (we don’t believe you have) and are after some new and exotic brews, you’ll want to make your way to Kult Kafe for Beerlicious on 16 and 17 September. Beerlicious is the first in a series of bi-annual outdoor craft beer fiestas, and will feature 12 vendors and over 50 different craft brews and ciders. Thirsty yet?
The all-day craft beer-fuelled fiesta will feature beers from Singapore craft breweries like Archipelago, Rye and Pint, Brewerkz, Crossroads and Innocence Brewing. International microbreweries from UK, Canada, Poland, South Africa, Australia, and Japan will also enter the fray with seasonal beers available on tap or in bottles.
You’re probably not going to make it past two pints of IPA on an empty stomach, so make sure to grab some grub from food stalls set up by Sidecar Sausages, the vegan-friendly Banyan Tamarind Foods, and more.
While craft beer in Singapore does have the tendency to be on the pricey side, the event aims to remain accessible with its $15 entry free that includes a complimentary beer. Most craft beers at the festival will also be priced at $12 or $50 for a selection of five, so if you’re looking to get into the world of craft beer, here’s your ticket.
Beerlicious, Kult Kafe, 11 Upper Wilkie Road, Singapore 228120. 16 and 17 Sep, 12pm-10pm. $15.
