We’re always in the mood for sushi – especially these fresh, authentic creations handmade by skilled chefs from Douraku Sushi. 3. Tajimaya Yakiniku

Ah, can you smell the grill and hear that sizzle? Tajimaya Yakiniku is calling with an authentic Japanese charcoal grill experience. 4. Kumachan Onsen

Whip out your cameras for this adorable teddy bear hotpot hailing from Hokkaido! In typical shabu-shabu style, this halal-certified restaurant lets you enjoy thinly sliced meats dipped into rich broths. 5. Hanare by Takayama

Cosy up with a heartwarming meal at Hanare by Takayama, one of the most known Kamameshi restaurants in Singapore. 6. Tonkatsu Enbiton

Airy, light and perfectly crispy on the outside, and juicy and tender on the inside… It’s no surprise that Tonkatsu Enbiton is one of our go-to spots for tonkatsu cravings. Quality is the name of the game, with panko (Japanese-style breadcrumbs) imported from Saitama prefecture and the use of Hokkaido Shirabaka pork.
Ordering the katsu set is a must. Hong Kongers will be familiar with this yakiniku restaurant that has been dishing out succulent grills for over a decade.
