From uplifting Yuletide tunes to Broadway and Disney hits, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra’s year-end concerts have something for everyone. On 11 and 12 December 2026, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra presents its annual Christmas concert. Joined by the Singapore Symphony Chorus, the joyous celebration features traditional Christmas medley singalongs, alongside selections from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, John Rutter’s Gloria, and Thomas Hewitt Jones’ A Christmas Cracker. Oh, and keep your ears peeled for familiar Christmas carols like O Holy Night, Joy To The World and Winter Wonderland.
Next, save the dates on 17 and 18 December 2026 for On My Own: Nathania Ong with the Singapore Symphony, an evening that celebrates the best of musical theatre, Broadway and Disney. West End star Nathania Ong, accompanied by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and fellow vocalists Preston Lim and Vanessa Kee, will perform beloved favourites from Frozen, Wicked and Les Miserables. 2. Christmas Wonderland 2026
Singapore’s biggest Christmas event returns for more whimsical magic at Gardens by the Bay! This annual Christmas event in Singapore is a must-visit thanks to its sprawling event grounds filled with carnival games, opportunities to meet Santa Claus, a multitude of aesthetically pleasing photo spots, and stunning Spalliera display. Oh, and don’t forget to stroll through Mistletoe Alley’s Christmas shops for knick knacks and meet Santa Claus for photos.

3. Christmas Train Show
The Flower Dome’s Christmas Train Show returns for its third edition, featuring a multitude of model trains chugging along looping tracks that roll past scenes of Singapore, the US, and Finland. It’ll wind through intricate botanical models of railway stations on the West Coast, East Coast, and American heartlands as a nod to the United States. This year, the show features several familiar landscapes celebrating Singapore’s own rail heritage with two SMRT trains running alongside reimagined MRT stations. The final stop is the snowy Rovaniemi – Santa Claus’s official hometown on the Arctic Circle.

4. World Christmas Market
With a name like that, you know it’s one of the most epic Christmas events in Singapore. A little Christmas magic is waiting to be discovered at the World Christmas Market, which will be taking its whimsy to Fort Canning Park this year! Gather your family and friends because there’ll be plenty of festive spirit to go around. We’re still awaiting final details, but we’re expecting a ton of food stalls, Christmas trinkets sold by local artisans, and many Christmas lights.

4. A Universal Christmas
For the ultimate Christmas theme park event, head to Universal Studios Singapore and soak up all the festive feels. There’ll be the usual happenings like festive shows, character meet-and-greets, and more. But you can also expect some new things like the debut of The North Pole Jingle Jam – a new musical show! You can also spot the 10-metre-tall confectionery Christmas tree at the Dazzling Dessert Studios. You can even meet Santa Claus, Mrs Claus, Hello Kitty, and Kuromi in this candy-themed setting!

5. Christmas On A Great Street
Christmas enthusiasts, if you haven’t been to the shopping stretch lately, you’ll be excited to see classic Christmas lights and iconic Yuletide elements peppering the area. The Orchard Road Business Association is bringing back Christmas on A Great Street, and you can expect way more games and rides at this year’s Christmas Village. There are even activities at the Lego Santa’s Toy Factory and an immersive exhibition built around Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday blockbuster.

6. Garden Rhapsody: The Christmas Special
We won’t lie – we still stop to catch free light shows in Singapore when we get the chance. And one of our favourites is the Garden Rhapsody at Gardens by the Bay. It’s the perfect excuse to stretch your legs, sit amongst the Supertrees, and soak in the ambience. After you’ve explored the Flower Dome, find your seat for the Christmas special! This jolly edition will have the tree lights dancing to some classic Christmas carols and highlights sung by local artists.

7. Gardens-A-Glow
Singapore Botanic Gardens is building on the Trees of the World tradition with its refreshed festive celebration, Gardens-A-Glow. Celebrating the spirit of community and the Gardens’ role as a gathering place for families and friends, you’ll find this locale decked out with decorated trees, light installations, festive displays, exhibitions, and activities. If you want to be part of the festivities, you can donate $800 to decorate one of the trees or adopt a cluster at $10,000 and enjoy an exclusive ornament-making workshop!
