Ready, set, dash! Christmas gets a turbo-charged twist at i12 Katong this year, where the mall has transformed into a Sonic wonderland. From 7 to 22 December, kids (ages six and up) and families can level up their holiday fun at the Sonic Obstacle Course, an action-packed playground inspired by everyone’s favourite speedy hedgehog. Simply spend a minimum of $50 for a chance to play (limited to the first 40 pax a day.)
Expect vibrant decorations, immersive challenges, and enough adrenaline-pumping activities to keep the little ones entertained for hours. The course features a series of playful (and slightly tricky) obstacles like the Sea of Rings, Quintuple Steps, wobbly planks, and even a Floating Bridge.
And what’s Christmas without a little treat? Every participant who conquers the course walks away with a Limited Edition Sonic Pin (worth $5) – a cute keepsake for the memory bank. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Strike a pose with vibrant Sonic-themed photo spots scattered across the mall. 2. Plaza Singapura x Museum of Ice Cream pop-up

If you’re looking for a pink Christmas, this is the event at Plaza Singapura is for you. Plunge into a sprinkle pool, take photos inside a life-sized snow globe, admire pink-hued twinkly lights… and don’t forget to sign up for a free painting workshop that will be held in collaboration with our friends at HoneyKids Asia. Happening on Fridays, this workshop lets you decorate your own dessert-shaped squishy and bring it home in personalised gift bags. 3. Changi Festive Village

This year’s Changi Festive Village spotlights the adorable Hello Kitty’s golden jubilee in the cutest way. Enter the Departure Hall at Terminal 3 and you’ll see an 8m-tall Hello Kitty topiary surrounded by friends like My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin. Plus, there’s a cool 7m-long rainbow slide, daily snow shows, and meet-and-greet sessions on weekends with Sanrio characters.
Don’t forget the fun carnival games! At Terminal 3’s Arrival Hall, you’ll spot nine zones with Sanrio figurines, photo booths, rides and more. Win a couple of games and you can snag limited edition collectibles, plush toys and bags.
Wanna cool down from the heat? Make a splash at Cosmic HydroPark ($19 for weekdays, $24 for weekends), the airport’s first inflatable water park, at the Terminal 3 Coach Bay. With swings, trampolines and balance beams, this obstacle course beckons all ages for loads of fun.

4. Sentosa Presents: A Big, Big World
9 December 2024 – 16 February 2025
Something big is coming our way, and we’re psyched. Sentosa is transforming its island into three realms with interactive installations and festive activities, so if you need another reason to visit, this is it!
At Resorts World Sentosa, look forward to traipsing across four zones inspired by England, France, Germany, and Japan. There will be larger-than-life displays like a hot air balloon and a cuckoo clock, light projections, origami reindeer sculptures, snowfall, fun carnival games, carolling sessions, and more. The Christmas event runs from 9 December to 2 January, while the CNY season is from 19 January to 16 February.
Haven’t been to the new Sentosa Sensoryscape yet? Check it out for a dreamy experience at night, and brighten up your evening with street performances, balloon sculpting activities, and an installation of giant fluffy swings called Cloud Swing Dreams.
Finally, at Palawan Beach, you’ll get to create personalised kites at Flight of Wishes during the day. Once night falls, The Floating Marvels features 12 sea creature inflatables like jellyfish and whales lighting up the skies.

5. Christmas Wonderland

Singapore’s biggest Christmas event returns for more whimsical magic at Gardens by the Bay! Highlights at Christmas Wonderland 2024 include the return of the 20m-high Spalliera and snowfall sessions, stunning light displays, fun carnival games and rides, food stalls and festive live performances. Plus, don’t forget to stroll through Mistletoe Alley’s Christmas shops for knick knacks and meet Santa Claus for photos.

6. World Christmas Market Singapore

Want to experience a whole new world of Yuletide celebrations this year? Head down to the first-ever World Christmas Market Singapore at Marina Bay for a holiday extravaganza. We’re talking about twinkling lights, festive tunes, and grand Christmas trees to set the scene. Stroll through the market to shop for handcrafted trinkets and traditional treats, and pop by the Saint Nicholas Village-inspired area for little ones to play.
Highlights include Candy Cane Lane, Christmas carols by the Singing Christmas Tree, a Christmas Tree Farm where you can buy fresh firs, Christmas musical performances, a Snow Globe picture booth, and loads more.
In the spirit of giving, the event is partnering with non-profit organisation Brands For Good to spread the joy to those in need. It also features a sustainable spin with eco-friendly practices like waste reduction and reducing their carbon footprint. How’s that for Christmas cheer?

7. A Universal Christmas

For the ultimate Christmas theme park event, head to Universal Studios Singapore and soak up all the festive feels. What’s new this year, you ask? Well, think all things green, because you’ll be transported to the Emerald City in celebration of the movie Wicked hitting cinemas.
Step into the New York zone, aka the Land of Oz, and meet iconic characters like Elphaba, Glinda, and The Wizard. There’ll be fabulous photo spots, makeover services for young ones, costume displays, merch up for grabs, and Wicked-inspired bites.
This year also marks the debut of the DreamWorks Animation Holiday Spectacular, where names like Shrek, Po, the Trolls and the Madagascar gang come together in a light and music projection mapping show. Plus, look out for the steampunk-themed Santa’s Magical Mechanical World and the new Tinker Time Christmas show.

You can’t miss this vibrant, twinkling space right outside Marina Bay Sands. Intrigued? Make the most of the festive season by immersing yourself in the glittering lights of illumi. The Christmas season edition promises more spectacular sparkle, so throw on your best shimmering outfit and make a date with 20 million LED lights. Across nine unique worlds, you’ll mingle with dinosaurs, maple trees, magical creatures, winter animals, dune palaces and more.

9. Jewel Changi Airport’s festive wonderland

Soak in the Yuletide vibes at Jewel, where you’ll spot a towering 16m-tall Christmas tree by Polo Ralph Lauren, nightly snowfall sessions, and a festive light and music showcase. Best of all, Disney fans can rejoice because it’s home to the first-ever Disney Cruise Line-themed installations inspired by the Disney Adventure that’s setting sail from Singapore in 2025.
Pop over to Jewel’s Canopy Park to enter a space inspired by the seven themed areas on the cruise ship. From Disney Imagination Garden to San Fransokyo Street, and displays featuring fan-favourite Disney, Pixar, and Marvel characters, you’ve got plenty to snap pics with. If you’re lucky, you might bump into Disney friends for a meet-and-greet while you’re there!

10. Chijmes Christmas events

Make your way to Chijmes for a brilliant light projection show featuring classic Christmas scenes on the hall’s facade at the main lawn. Once you’re done admiring it, head over to the pop-up market and pick up Christmas treats for the fam. Look out for more festive entertainment in the form of carolling and song-signing performances. Of course, you can’t miss out on the daily snowfall happening from 7pm to 10pm every half an hour.

11. Pokemon Aqua Adventure

Have a splashin’ good time at Adventure Cove Waterpark this festive season with all your favourite Pokemon friends. Expect to see characters from the latest animation series, Pokemon Horizons: The Series, and look forward to the exciting parade featuring Pikachu, Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly. At Asian cacao specialist Mr. Bucket’s sweet festive market, you can customise a chocolate tree with unlimited toppings ($28) or join a workshop to decorate your slab with cacao butter ($40). While you’re there, sip on complimentary hot chocolate and mulled wine, or nibble on scrumptious s’mores to get into the Xmas spirit.

15. Christmas on A Great Street

Yes, we all saw the festive decorations getting strung up along Orchard Road in October. Christmas enthusiasts, if you haven’t been to the shopping stretch lately, you’ll be excited to see classic Christmas lights and iconic Yuletide elements in a “firefly garden”. Think sparkling fir trees, stars, pine and holly.
Look forward to crowd-favourite activities like live performances and outdoor augmented reality projections, as well as a new initiative called ORBar on A Great Street that delivers a bar-hopping passport experience, so don’t miss out on that! Come Christmas Eve, join the street party from Ion Orchard to Ngee Ann City and enjoy beats by DJs, roving mascots, pop-up stalls, and countdown fun.
Of course, the two Great Christmas Villages make a return – one at Shaw House Urban Plaza and another at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza. There’ll be carnival rides galore, gigs by local buskers, a 14m-tall Christmas tree, four-minute snowfall shows at 8pm and 9pm, and more.

16. Magical Bamboo Forest Experience

Step into an enchanting bamboo forest filled with 12 interactive zones and family-friendly fun at Downtown East. Expect to see panda mascots and carolling sessions, limited edition gifts, and panda-themed activities and treats this festive season.
The star of the show is the free bamboo maze featuring foam obstacles, a ball pit, a mirror maze, and loads more. Oh, and look out for performances by ukulele players and a cappella groups! More panda-inspired experiences include screenings of Kungfu Panda 4, climbing activities, and art classes.
