We’ve got loads of Christmas events at Gardens by the Bay happening this festive season. But the highlight, as always, is Poinsettia Wishes. Inspired by traditional confectionery from Nordic countries, this year’s display features an 8m-tall cupcake ferris wheel, larger-than-life “treats” like candy canes, gingerbread decorations in the shape of animals, a candy apple Christmas carriage and more. Oh, and don’t miss out on glittering luminarie installations and real Xmas trees at the gardens!

2. Make merry at Universal Studios Singapore
For a joyous year-end celebration, head to the theme park and luxuriate in all the festive feels. You’ll be enjoying musical meet-and-greets, getting an adrenaline rush on the rides, and catching a glimpse of your fave characters on the streets. Get excited for the first look at Otto from the upcoming Minions 2: The Rise of Gru, meet Sesame Street friends and more. Oh, and follow the Universal Rockin’ Railway for Christmas trees inspired by Jurassic World, Shrek and Minions. You can also send a letter to Santa and watch as the Postmaster Elf drops it off via the North Pole Postal Service! Later on, when the hunger pangs come calling, snack on turkey legs, festive macaroons and Christmas cookie trees.

Keep your spirits high this festive season as A Magical Christmas Comedy Show rolls out the LOLs on stage. You’ll be “ho ho ho-ing” your way to a fun-filled evening with talents like Sarah Peng, Matt Chalmers, Shalynn Hobelsberger, Adrian Saw and Sam See. It’s all about good vibes here!

4. Frolic in a winter playground
Have the winter getaway of your dreams… without taking off on a plane. Snow City’s new permanent exhibit features the city’s first Ice Hotel Gallery. Step into the frosty wonderland and you’ll find sculptures and furniture carved out of ice, with temperatures kept at a cool -5°C. Chill at the Ice Bar and check out scenes of flora and fauna by local artist Jeffrey Ng. Next, hop over to Snow City’s other attractions for ice bumper car rides and sub-zero shooting battles.

The city’s biggest festive event returns for more whimsical magic at Gardens by the Bay. There’ll be light displays, photo-taking with Santa, carnival games, a double-storey Venetian carousel, a Mistletoe Alley Market for gift shopping, the Garden Rhapsody light and sound show, and loads more. Look out for the Walk of Stars, Enchanted Bridge, and eight gorgeous light displays for cool photo ops.

7. Immerse yourself in a festive village
The Changi Festive Village returns for more holiday fun. Check out the indoor electric go-kart circuit, dinosaur-themed bouncy castle and festive carnival at Terminal 4, plus a 12m-long brachiosaurus at Terminal 3 and a lit-up path at the Changi Airport Connector. Next, head to Jewel Changi Airport for glamping tents, a 16m-tall Christmas tree at the Shiseido Forest Valley and beautiful photo backdrops inspired by popular overseas destinations.

8. Celebrate good times with ice-skating, snow and more
There’s so much to keep you entertained this festive season – the Christmas events in Singapore just keep comin’! Hop on a vintage sidecar heritage tour through the Civic District, take a selfie with sidecar Santa, shop your way through the Christmas market at Capitol Singapore’s Outdoor Plaza, or try your hand at craft workshops at Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski.
Don’t forget to snap pics with the 8m-tall Singing Tree and frolic with the little ones during “snowfall” (daily from 7pm onwards) at the Outdoor Plaza. The One°15 Christmas Boat Light Parade returns with a new showcase. Boaters will be decking the hulls to get into the Xmas spirit, so you can gaze at the lovely displays from the boardwalk.

12. Hop on board the Orient Express
The iconic train is still in town for the last legs of its pop-up this Yuletide season, so if you haven’t made the trip down, swing by to admire the mysterious and magnificent Orient Express. Expect to see original train carriages, historical artefacts, glimpses of international stopovers and scenic cities on the train’s route, and a merch corner for collectors’ items. Plus, check out the escape room experience, a replica restaurant car and a cafe.

We’ve got no lack of craft workshops in town, with some of them going the festive route this season. Keep tabs on your fave brands and make your own wreaths, floral arrangements and Xmas decor.
