You’ve probably spammed your phone over the years with countless pictures of the iconic luminarie light sculptures. Clear up that memory space as Christmas Wonderland is back with more mind-blowing sights and activities for the whole fambam (we hear there’s going to be a 21-metre tall Spalliera). But you if really want to get in the festive mood, don’t leave without taking a stroll ‘round the Festive Market or enjoying the snowfall during Blizzard Time and ice skating under the stars. Carnival games and kid-friendly rides will also be making a comeback.

A Dazzling Christmas

One Raffles Place transforms into a dazzling festive space this Christmas. Get your creative juices flowing with DIY workshops where you can make t-shirt yarn necklaces and crochet cup holders. Make a purchase at the Christmas Craft Market and you’ll also be treated to Christmas carols, free popcorn and candy floss. Psst.. spend $80 to snag two passes to one of the Christmas gift workshops. You’ll love it!

The Great Circus of Europe
20 Dec – 1 Jan
The Great Circus of Europe is coming to town! And they will be joining hands with carnival fave, Uncle Ringo, for one helluva Christmassy fiesta. Expect fun carnival games for the young (and young at heart), thrilling rides and delish munchies at the Escapade Festival Village. But the main act has to go to the grand circus show. Expect oohs and ahhs as they showcase heart-racing trapeze acts, jaw-dropping stunts, aerial displays and world-class acrobatic acts, all packed into a 90-minute performance.

A Furry White Christmas
We’re pretty sure our fur babies love Christmas too. Pets Magazine is hosting a party just for your furry friend, so dress your cats and dogs in their best white Christmas outfit and join in all the festive fun. There will be hearty bites, Christmas carols and prizes to be won. We just can’t wait to see ‘em all adorably decked in ugly Christmas sweaters.

Great World City Christmas Market

Hop over to the newly revamped Great World City for festive hampers by Ryan’s Grocery and Cold Storage, customised fragrances by the folks at Maison 21G, Yankee candles, stationery by Kikki. K and even an Independent Market for gifts from local brands. Oh, and you have to pick up one of the adorable handmade gifts created by people from the Down Syndrome Association –all proceeds from these gifts will go back to the association! Carolers will also be around to usher in the Christmas spirit on selected dates at 6pm.

The Season of Joy at Capitol Singapore

Show ‘em how it’s done at the 1,700 sq.ft. synthetic ice-rink from Switzerland. With Santa Claus meet and greets and outdoor snowfall sessions every day, this is one jolly place to be!

Christmas Village is back and this time, it’s bigger than ever before. Taking over Shaw House Urban Plaza, *Scape and Grange Road carpark, expect countless activities that’ll keep you and the whole fambam entertained. Street food, carnival games and activities aside, there’s also Mini Toybox by Hasbro with themed obstacle courses by My Little Pony and Nerf. That’s not all. The festivities (we’re talking Christmas carolling to multimedia shows) extend all the way from Ion Orchard to Wisma Atria.

Christmas at the Fort
19 – 22 Dec
It’s raining music festivals this December and Christmas at the Fort is one special event you shouldn’t miss. Enjoy performances by local musicians Charlie Lim, Joanna Dong, Olivia Ong and more. There’s also going to be an eco-market with conscious brands, ample food and drink choices, activities for kids and a grand multi-media show to showcase 200 years of Christmas festivities in Singapore.
