These spring and summer fragrances will keep you smelling fresh in the hottest weather
It’s always hot and humid in Singapore, so the answer to smelling good is a lightweight scent or a summery fragrance that lasts despite the sweat and unrelenting heat. Below, we’ve picked out our favourite fragrances for hot weather for both men and women.
Issey Miyake L’Eau d’Issey Pure EDT
Inspired by water, the classic L’Eau d’Issey scent gets a fresh makeover with citrus notes of zesty mandarin. Combined with floral notes of rose and lily, and balanced with salty Ambergine, it’s an addictive combination reminiscent of the sun, sand and sea.
Issey Miyake L’Eau d’Issey Pure comes in 90ml ($164), available at major Departmental stores, Sephora and SASA
Jimmy Choo L’eau
For a summery, floral scent, you can’t go wrong with Jimmy Choo’s L’eau. This concoction layers floral and woody scents, with hibiscus flower and bergamot tinged with heady cedarwood and musk.
Jimmy Choo L’eau comes in 90 ml ($149), available at Sephora TANGS, Takashimaya, BHG Bugis, Metro, Sasa and Robinsons.
Miu Miu L’Eau Bleue
Picture the first hint of spring’s arrival – the scent of freshly bloomed flowers and sparkling morning dew glinting on fresh foliage. Miu Miu’s L’Eau Bleue is all that in a bottle. It mixes the smells of spring with the light floral Lily of the Valley scent warmed with spicy Akigalawood, a perfume note derived from patchouli oil.
Miu Miu L’Eau Bleue comes in 50ml ($147) and 100m ($176) ). Available at Metro Paragon Shopping Centre, Robinsons The Heeren, Sephora, Tangs at Tang Plaza and Takashimaya.
Signorina in Fiore
The Signorina in Fiore perfume smells like spring, with Nashi Pear Sorbet and pomegranate as its juicy top notes and soft and pretty cherry blossom and jasmine petals following after. It’s light enough to wear on the hottest of days, making it the right scent to wear for both office and humid date nights.
