We might not have snow in Singapore, but we’ve got the glow of spectacular light installations brightening up the entire island this Christmas.
Christmas without twinkly lights and sparkly decorations is like a New Year’s celebration without fireworks. In Singapore, Christmas is a rather grand affair, with streets already adorned with glittering decor and lights even before the crowds hit the stores (think mid-November!) for gift shopping. So don’t let the year-end stress cast a shadow on your festive spirit. Take a stroll down these places, which are bound to put a smile on your face with dazzling Christmas displays.
Where to see Christmas lights in Singapore 2021
1. Orchard Road
13 Nov 2021 – 2 Jan 2022
Take a trip down Orchard Road and be amazed by the massive Christmas light-up stretching 3.1km from Tanglin Mall to Plaza Singapura. Themed “Christmas in Bloom”, the display features dazzling fairy lights, massive arches adorned with classic red, white and gold poinsettias and festive decorations. But the highlight has to be the massive outdoor AR projection that’s screened at the sidewall of Mandarin Orchard Singapore. Watch a scheduled screening of a 10-minute AR show from 8pm to 10.30pm daily. Or download the mobile app PopAR for some interactive fun like AR fireworks.

Adopting the theme “Whims And Fancies”, it’ll feature an immersive Christmas installation and dazzling holiday light show.
