You may have partied on the rooftop, danced at the club, or eaten at the restaurant at CÉ LA VI, but did you know that the team behind the concept are huge health and wellbeing addicts? That’s why the menus always have loads of clean and delicious food incorporated (they’re on our list of best brunches in Hong Kong, after all!), and why you’ll find them doing things a little differently.
Running throughout June, Wellness month at CÉ LA VI Hong Kong brings a number of unique and affordable classes and healing experiences, grouped under four core pillars of healthy living. What’s even better is that these guys know that your time is precious, so they’ve organised lunch time and morning classes to fit in with your busy schedule, and prices for the selection of workshops start from just $120. Week Two: Connect Deeply
Enjoy a Tea Ceremony with the founder of Spiral Spaces Resham Daswani on the Sky Deck on Thursday 14 June at 7:30am. Guest will be guided through a unique experience called “Cha Dao”, which has long been praised for its ability to cultivate an awakened presence through tea.
Week Three: Stress Less
If you’re anything like us, your life in Hong Kong is probably fast-paced and often stressful. The Stress Less series during Wellness Month at CÉ LA VI Hong Kong is all about taking time to pause the mind, and we can really get behind that!
At 12:45 on Tuesday 19 June, block out an hour to spend with The Aromatherapy Associates who will be guiding a class on The Art of Sleeping Well. Starting with an inhalation of essential oils to help relax both body and mind, the team will talk through the key ingredients of having a good nights sleep. (THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY SOLD OUT, SORRY)
Then, on Thursday 21 June, enjoy Yoga Release with Charlotte Johnson on the Sky Deck. Escape your office chair at 12:45 and use foam rollers and stretching to release muscle tension and work worries.
Week Four: Eat Well, Be Well
You didn’t think they’d forget to feed you, did you? For the final week of Wellness Month at CÉ LA VI Hong Kong experience Mindful Eating with Aromatherapy Associates, who will guide guests on how to have a balanced diet and how different oils can affect the body and appetite. A range of different oils will be available for guests to sample during the workshop.
So join us at CÉ LA VI this month and put yourself and your body first. On top of these amazing workshops, you’ll also receive a range of gifts, including complimentary classes and vouchers from TORQ, Aromatherapy Associates, The Yoga Room, Tizzy and, of course, CÉ LA VI.
What you’ve missed!
Week One: Move More
The first week is all about getting your body moving with three classes being held on the wonderful Sky Deck. On Tuesday 5 June at 11am, enjoy a fun and dynamic yoga class with Marsha Yip, who will help you build strength and flexibility and incorporate restorative elements for a truly holistic experience.
At 12:30pm on the same day, the crew from TORQ will be bringing the fun to the Sky Deck once more with a Switch/Release class. Expect 30 minutes of serious calorie burning followed by 20 minutes of foam rolling action to unlock any jammed areas and give you serious freedom of movement.
And get set for an early calorie-burning fest on Thursday 7 June, when TORQ takes to the Sky Deck again with 60 minutes of Switch, an innovative circuit class that will definitely challenge your body.
Week Two is all about connecting with your inner self and finding a community of like-minded individuals. Relax with Reiki by Corrie Chu in the Club Lounge on Tuesday 12 June at 12:45. By using this popular energy healing method, guests will take time to meditate as Reiki Master Teacher Corrie Chu restores energy through touch.
Wednesday 13 June is dedicated to New Moon Meditation with Katherine Dale & Tizzy on the Sky Deck. At 7:30am, Katherine Dale will guide guests through lunar cycles, meditation and how to use moon energy to find balance, plus this will all be followed by a ginger anointment ceremony from Tizzy using ginger oil from locally grown organic ginger.
