We headed over to Indulgence to experience one of their Aromatic Massages – all in the name of work, obvs
You know that we love making me-time for ourselves here at Honeycombers. Whether we’re finding our zen at these meditation centres, working on our alignment at these yoga studios in Hong Kong or enjoying a Hong Kong staycation, we like to relax just as much as we like to play. So when Indulgence in Central asked us to come and try their Aromatic Massage, of course, we had to go along and indulge.

Located in the heart of Central, Indulgence is the perfect spot for hair and beauty in Hong Kong. With an international team of hairdressers and stylists, the hair salon at Indulgence will craft a look and colour that enhances your individuality, as well as being on trend. Beyond hair, they also offer an extensive range of beauty treatments, including facials, peels, non-surgical skin treatments and eyelash/eyebrow work, meaning you can drop into Indulgence and come out the best version of yourself; we love that!
Aromatic massage at Indulgence
When I went over to enjoy my aromatic massage at Indulgence, I was immediately taken by the crisp and clean interiors and the stunning view of the city from the waiting area. As I nestled into the comfy seating and enjoyed a welcoming cup of tea, I waited for my therapist and enjoyed the funky music (yes, Solange!) in the light and airy setting.
While the hairdressing area is open-plan behind reception, I was whisked off down to white treatment rooms to enjoy my massage. Before starting, my therapist asked what sort of pressure I preferred and if I had any areas I would like to concentrate on. Confirmed as a medium pressure gal with achy shoulders, she began to work on my body using a lovely rose oil thats fragrance filled up the room and smelled absolutely divine on my skin.
For 60 glorious minutes she worked on my shoulders, back, arms and legs, applying just the right amount of pressure. In fact, it was so blissful that I may have fallen asleep for a good 20-30 minutes! I really liked the way that the therapist would occasionally check in with me to see if I was comfortable with the pressure; she was clearly reading my body as she moved throughout the treatment, which was excellent.
Once finished, I returned to the reception where I was informed to keep hydrated for the rest of the day and offered a glass of water as I continued to relax.
The team at Indulgence were friendly and professional, and I will definitely be back for another massage soon, though I may need to extend to 90 minutes, as it was just that good.
