Discovery Bay’s rock pools are the perfect place to chill out. Just a short 15-minute stroll from the ferry pier will take you to this hidden gem filled with waterfalls, natural pools, and boulders. Just a heads-up though: the pools can get quite busy during the weekends, don’t forget your bug spray, and be careful!
If you’re up for more of an adventure, the Discovery Bay – Mui Wo trail is a great option. This well-maintained trail takes you on a two-hour journey through the quaint village of Nim Shu Wan, past humble homes and vegetable farms, and up a tree-lined path to the serene Trappist Haven Monastery.
