Enjoy a third-culture feast at Crafty Cow (NOW CLOSED PERMANENTLY)
Located in PoHo, just off Hollywood Road, Crafty Cow defines itself as third-culture dining – creating dishes that represent two or more culinary schools. Known for its fine selection of craft beer from across the world, the restaurant is back creating tasty burgers, steaks, sandwiches and salads.
What’s good?
Everybody around the table enjoyed their food when we made a trip to the restaurant recently. The Hanger Steak was cooked to perfection and put a smile on our dining companion’s face with its rich flavour.
Likewise, the Soft-Shell Crab Bao was a huge hit. Served on a charcoal bun, the whole crab is deep fried and got a thumbs up from the crew.
If you’re looking for the perfect hangover cure, the Biz-Class Truffle Scrambled Egg Grilled Cheese will be your new best friend. Packed full of melted cheese, scrambled egg and black truffle, it’s pretty much heaven on a plate.
Those who want to opt for a lighter and healthier lunch will love the Super 10 Salad, featuring ten superfoods including: quinoa, chickpeas, kale, blueberries, walnuts, feta cheese and radishes – delicious!
We washed our lunch down with a glass of Matso’s Ginger Beer from Broome, Western Australia – the perfect light accompaniment for when you need to get back to the office.
