Lash extensions are great, as they mean you can ditch mascara and create a real visual impact with your eyes, so we recently tried the new Lash in Bloom treatment at Browhaus in Central.
We LOVE trying out beauty treatments in Hong Kong and sharing the ones with great results with you. Recently, we got an energy lift with an I.V. boost from Reviv Hong Kong, tested out facial acupuncture at Eu Yan Sang, and got a new look at Love Hair, so this time we wanted to do something different. Enter Browhaus in Central who asked us to try their new Lash in Bloom ultra-premium eyelash extensions. Check out what we thought below.
Browhaus in Central
If you’ve never been to Browhaus in Central, it’s a super cute beauty spot that is decorated in an array of bright colours. The treatment rooms are actually these quirky tent-like structures which function really well and bring a different dynamic to the space. Upon arrival, the staff were friendly and I was quickly whisked away into my very own tent!
Lash in Bloom eyelash extensions
The coolest thing about the new Lash in Bloom eyelash extensions ($1400) is that the technicians can tailor a look especially for your eye shape or desired level of impact. We don’t believe in doing things by halves here at Honeycombers, so I opted for the Natural Curl variety which is mid impact along with The Cat Eye Look.
Be prepared to sit still for about 90 minutes as the technician fastidiously affixes the multi-lash extensions in place. And then when you open your eyes… drop dead gorgeous lashes!
When I returned to the office, everyone loved the new look and I kept getting comments on how great they looked for weeks afterwards. In fact, the lashes stayed on for around five weeks, which was really impressive.
Would I get them again?
Absolutely, yes! These are the perfect lashes for holidays, special occasions or monthly wear. They didn’t irritate my eyes at all, and I think that a five week life for such beautiful lashes is really great. Next time, I won’t wear my contact lenses to the procedure, as they both actually slipped down as the technician was working on my eyes, and I will definitely go for the full Barbie Doll Look preferred by the wonderfully epic Harajuku girls in Japan.
I’m not going to stop until my eyelashes stop traffic!
