Put on your explorer hat, and come along as we unearth new finds and food haunts in the Robertson Quay neighbourhood!
Confession: as a true blue Singaporean, there are many areas of the city I’ve yet to explore. Perhaps it’s not about our city being boring, but more about not knowing where to look. That’s why I’ve taken it upon myself to uncover more hidden gems, especially in regions that I tend to overlook. One such neighbourhood sprang to mind immediately: Robertson Quay. Typically seen as a tourist enclave, is there more than meets the eye?
I put on my explorer hat for a day to unearth secret finds, food haunts and more in the area. And here’s a teaser: I found an ideal base – Village Residence Robertson Quay – to call home while exploring. Besides its amazing locale and well-appointed abodes, staying at this serviced apartment complex brings other perks, too. Keep reading for all the insider tips!
Eat, play and explore: Underrated gems of Robertson Quay
1. Take a trip to Italy at Bella Pasta
Singapore is a foodie nation. That’s why we’re starting our tour strong with a food haunt. Nestled along a row of restaurants and bars, this unassuming Italian restaurant may not immediately catch your eye. But for over a decade, it has been a one-stop spot for authentic Italian cuisine, dishing out hearty bowls of fresh pasta, pizzas, and classic delicacies like osso buco and pancetta. You know where to go the next time the pasta cravings call.
