Want family-friendly fun this Halloween? Go trick or treating, enjoy spectacular shows and more at Universal Studios Singapore.
Are you excited for Halloween this year? We know we are, ‘cos plenty of fun times await. For a fa-boo-lous time, round up the family and head to Universal Studios Singapore, where you’ll lift your spirits with an awesome programme for Halloween. It’s all about the Trick or Thrills this year, featuring Illumination’s Minion Monsters, Gru’s Girls, and the stars of DreamWorks Animation’s Madagascar. Here are six activities you don’t want to miss out on.

1. Sweet & Sour Squad Parade

Say hello to the Sweet & Sour Squad as they make their first-ever appearance at the theme park. This wacky group whips up delicious creations at the candy factory for “The Creator” – total #squadgoals. Oh, and they’ll take over the park with a lavish procession three times a day, so you’ll want to keep an eye out for them and collect their sweet treats. Can’t say no to free candy!
2. Halloween Meet and Greets

Fancy hanging out with your favourite characters? Catch the Sweet & Sour Squad alongside Illumination’s Minion Monsters and Gru’s girls (Margo, Edith and Agnes), as well Alex, Gloria and King Julien from Madagascar in Hollywood. You’ll be mingling with the stars!
3. Best Dressed Contest

Before you get all starry-eyed, make sure you dress your best, because the most impressive Halloween costumes will win awesome prizes each day. After the Sweet & Sour Squad makes its grand entrance, “The Creator” will invite guests to hop on stage for a catwalk showdown. The winner, chosen by the audience, will enjoy a stunning photo op – but everyone gets candy after the show. It’s a win-win! Tip: if you need ideas, simply look to your favourite Minion or Madagascar characters for inspiration.
4. Rock N’ Trolls

If your little ones can’t get enough of the classic trick or treating experience, they’ll be over the moon to get candy from Universal Studios Singapore’s resident rock stars. Enjoy an electrifying show by DreamWorks’ Trolls Poppy, Branch and Guy Diamond, alongside rockers Roxy and Electra at Mel’s Diner Stage. Dance along to groovy tunes like ‘We Will Rock You’ and ‘Hit Me With Your Best Shot’. After rockin’ out to high-energy beats, families can snap pics with the stars and receive candy from them. What a treat!
5. Sesame Street Fortress of Fun

Ready your cameras as you frolic around the Fortress of Fun – you’ll want keepsakes of your family’s adventure with the Sesame Street friends. Wave to Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Oscar, Abby and The Count in New York as they take the spotlight in their brand new medieval best. This frightful fortress is definitely one for the ‘gram.
6. Snack on terrifying treats

After all the tricks and thrills, it’s time to fuel up. Grab Halloween-themed combo meals such as R.I.P. Hot Dog from Fossil Fuels, or Horror Eyeballs Pizza from Louis’s NY Pizza Parlor – it’s a charcoal pizza topped with mozzarella, googly eyes made with longan and blueberry, and puffed rice and gochujang sauce.
For more dreadfully delicious goodies, head to Goldilocks for its Infernal “Bat” Wings (charcoal-battered chicken wings in gochujang sauce), or pop by Mel’s Drive-In to polish off Maggoty Bolognese Stew topped with puffed rice, served with coleslaw and fries.
