Have a HeART for the disaster-stricken Philippines? Come down and join a full day of dance classes and performances by talented local artists – all for the aid of victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
Dance classes ($25 each) include ballet, contemporary, jazz, pilates, New York floor barre, hip hop, and social dance. They will be taught by a host of local dance artists and educators who wish to do their part in the fundraising efforts. Check out the schedule and purchase your slots here.
In the evening, a group of local musicians, poets, and dance performers like Mayo Martin, Loh Jun Hong, Alaine Handa, reAct Collective, The Kaizen M.D, Joy Wang, Frontier Danceland’s Christina Chan, and White Noise Creations will take the stage for an unforgettable night of music, movement and munificence.
All proceeds from the event will go to Typhoon Haiyan survivors through Mercy Relief.
