Making breakfast never looked so good. Smeg’s iconic range has new additions that just need to join your kitchen arsenal
Are you a big breakfast person? Well, even if you aren’t, it’s hard to deny the effects of an incredible brekkie. For us, it makes our day. Who wouldn’t want to kick things off with macha strawberry smoothie bowl topped with fresh fruits with a freshly pressed juice or a piping hot coffee on the side? Good thing Smeg’s new range is hell bent of making our morning brekkie prep look and feel good. Here’s what we’ve spied with our lil’ eye. (Psst: you could win a slick new Smeg Slow Juicer, so read on!)
The main squeeze: Slow Juicer
Drop down that tetra pack and rely on this amazing and adorable appliance for your juice fix. We like the idea of getting our daily dose of vitamins and nutrients with a side of ‘50s retro-style.
If you haven’t got the memo yet, cold-pressed juices tend to retain more nutrients. And this slow juicer can cold press anything in a few minutes – fruits, veggies (with skin and all), nuts and even grains! Homemade almond milk, anyone?
Not your average Joe: Espresso Coffee Machine
Hmmm, is there anything more glorious than waking up the aroma of freshly brewed coffee? We think not. Smeg’s new espresso coffee machine can use ground coffee or pods and is fitted with a special thermoblock heating system for faster prep. Oh, and the cappuccino system can blend steam, air and milk to treat you with a creamy foam. Proper cafe style stuff…
Mix-a-lot: Hand Blender
Everyone knows the secret to a great #breakfastbowl Insta post is one helluva blender and colourful berries. Smeg’s new hand blender (bless those pretty colours!) is a trooper – it can blend, crush, shred and whisk!
We’re giving one lucky reader the chance to take home a Slow Juicer, valued at $1,288! For your chance to win, simply enter your details below. This competition ends on 28 Dec 2018: the winner will be announced here and contacted directly to arrange the delivery of the prize. See our full competition terms and conditions.
Smeg’s new collection will be available at the Smeg Gallery, Tangs, Robinsons and Harvey Norman late December.
