Etihad Airways is set to usher in a new era of luxury air travel as its first group of butler trainees embark on specialist training at the renowned Savoy Butler Academy in London.
The chosen crew, who were specially handpicked by the airlines, will undergo an intensive three-week training program. Under the tutelage of skilled instructors at the Academy, the 13 trainees will cover a learning syllabus that includes VIP guest care, international protocol and etiquette, and luxury food and wine service.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will take on duty as butler to guests of The Residence by Etihad™ – the revolutionary and utterly luxurious three-room cabin onboard – on Etihad Airways’ inaugural Airbus A380 flight to London Heathrow on 27 December.
