The LGBT event once again turned Hong Lim Park into a sea of pink, with live music, guest speakers and mushy messages of love
Love is universal – there’s no doubt about that. Whatever race, nationality, or religion you may have – or whatever gender affiliation you embrace – love is limitless and should be enjoyed by all. Once again, thousands of supporters of the Freedom To Love movement flocked to Hong Lim Park to unite their voice at Pink Dot Singapore 2016. Heartfelt messages were written onto pink placards, live musicians and speakers rallied the masses with gusto, costumes of all colours paraded the grassy fairground, and hugs and kisses were exchanged without hesitation. Pink Dot isn’t a place of judgment; it’s a place of acceptance. Photographer, David Cullen, was in the heart of the hubbub on behalf of us Honeycombers, and captured these joyous memories through his lens. Do you feel the love?
