Family x Friends Sunday Brunch at Pete’s Place
If there’s one thing we love more than big, boozy brunches (always our favourite meal of the day), it’s having it with the family or with friends in our inner circle. If you’re like us, you’ll find the all-you-can eat Sunday Brunch at Pete’s Place – with an affordable price tag of $88++ that includes free-flowing house red or white wine and prosecco, Tiger draft beer, and Campari cocktails – just perfect.
Nestled in the basement of Grand Hyatt Singapore (located in the Orchard strip so you can totally follow up with a shopping spree!), Pete’s Place is lively and friendly, exuding the warmth of a cozy Italian home-kitchen, which makes it an ideal spot for any get-together you’ve been planning. Aside from the usual suspects in our comfort food repertoire – fresh pasta cooked a la minute and wood-fired oven pizzas – expect Sunday Brunch at Pete’s Place to be an Italian gastronomic journey.
We kicked off with the delightful spread of antipasti – think appetisers like beef carpaccio with aged Parmesan cheese, buffalo mozzarella with vine-ripened cherry tomatoes, and poached Atlantic salmon with green beans and quail eggs. If you’re a fan of cold cuts, satisfy your craving of prosciutto di parma, air-dried beef, salami, and mortadella at the cold-cut station. Get your freshly tossed salads from the salad bar.
We highly recommend moving on to their newly added (and highly anticipated) seafood counter equipped with a fine crustacean selection. Expect freshly shucked oysters with mignonette dressing, Canadian lobsters, scallops, crabs, and more. The folks at Pete’s Place haven’t forgotten your requisite Sunday roast either. You’ll get stuff like baked whole sustainable red-drum cartoccio, oven-roasted boneless leg of lamb, and slow-roasted beef sirloin with red wine sauce at the carving station!
Make sure you have space left for the incredible mains – we like the chicken cacciatore and slow-braised beef cheeks – and decadent desserts (who are we kidding? There’s always room for dessert) like panna cotta, tiramisu, gelato and sherbet.
Available exclusively on Sundays from 1130am to 230pm, if you’d rather focus on the food (sans the alcohol), the brunch buffet costs $68++ with selected juice and coffee or tea. Toting the kids? They eat for a mere $29++.
Just a friendly reminder that Club at the Hyatt members (Grand Hyatt’s dining loyalty programme) enjoy up to 50% discount off their restaurant bill when dining at Pete’s Place (and other Grand Hyatt restaurants). For reservations, please call 6416 7322 or email [email protected].
