We shop at Originals
Ever walked into a store and felt like you wanted to buy everything? That’s how we feel every time we find ourselves at Originals Singapore. Thankfully, we were forced to show some restraint as we scoured the store for our favourite pieces. Need some inspiration? Check out what we found!

Decorating style: Relaxed coastal vintage
Decorating constraints: I have young children so not only do I need my furniture to be hard-wearing, I also need to be able to keep them out of it!
Favourite pieces: I work from home and I’ve been trying to move from working in the dining space to my home office. I think restyling my home office would inspire me to do just that. I like that the Contemporary Teak Office Box provides plenty of storage for filing and fits perfectly under the COntemporary Teak Office Desk – a total space saver. A soft rug underfoot adds a dash of colour and the big draw – it’s easily steam cleaned should the kids get to it!

Decorating style: Clean lines and a penchant for white
Decorating constraints: Small space so I need my furniture to be multi-functional.
Favourite pieces: When your bedroom doubles as your office it’s always good to have a designated space for work. I love that the writing desk allows enough elbow space for work but isn’t monstrously huge like a lot of study tables are. Because most of my furniture is white, I like to look for white pieces that come in different textures, like this table lamp. The raw wood finish is fantastic.

Decorating style: Neutral with a fondness for natural materials
Decorating constraints: Small space with existing furniture to complement
Favourite pieces: I’ve been meaning to redo my bedroom for a while now. I believe in quality investment pieces and have my eye on this teak bedframe that will last years. These beautiful Korla cushions are the perfect accent to sprucing up any room. Having a space like that would definitely encourage me to keep work out of the bedroom!

Decorating style: Minimal and neutral with pops of colour.
Decorating constraints: like the ability to move furniture around when I shoot from my home to create different looks. The furniture can’t be too bulky or heavy.
Favourite pieces: I love the Indian cabinet as I have visions of filling it with camera bodies and lenses, inspirational photo books and journals, and being able to see it all through the beautiful glass panes.I imagine looking at this gorgeous cabinet whilst sitting in my Joe Lounge. I can easily change its look and feel with some throw pillows and it’s also easy to move around.
