From their series of classic films-inspired exhibitions comes Kult Studio and Gallery’s third exhibition, inspired by – you guessed it – cult Hong Kong film ‘Chungking Express’.
Following Kult Studio and Gallery’s successful exhibitions ‘Red Rum’ (inspired by legendary Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining) and ‘Android Dreams of Electric Sheep’ (based on Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner), ‘Chungking Express’ pays homage to the inimitable style of one of Asia’s most influential directors – Wong Kar Wai.
More than 25 artists have collaborated to participate in this group exhibition, producing a monumental showcase of works from a vast variety of artistic mediums. Fans of Chungking Express, or all of Wong Kar Wai’s impressive films, will definitely want to check out this exhibition!
