Did someone say endless fun for the whole family? This mall is the place to be during the June holidays.
It’s the June holidays in Singapore, and that means one thing: family bonding! School’s out for the kids, and there’s no better time to enjoy fun things to do with the whole family. Not sure where to start? Here’s a little heads up: Hello Kitty & My Melody Eco Adventures are ongoing at City Square Mall, which promises great fun for all ages. Here’s what to expect…
Meet your favourite childhood characters
The adorable characters of Hello Kitty and My Melody have made City Square Mall their home for the month, and they’re all ready to say hello! Meet them from 3 to 26 June 2022 every Friday (4pm and 7pm), as well as every Saturday and Sunday (1pm, 4pm and 7pm).
To receive a meet and greet pass, all you have to do is to spend a minimum of $50. Easy peasy! Passes are redeemable two hours before each 30-minute session, at the level two customer service counter and are limited to the first 50 shoppers per session. That’s right, go ahead and eat or shop to your heart’s content, and score a chance to say hi to these lovable characters.
Shop and redeem awesome deals
So you’re a big fan of Hello Kitty? Spend a minimum of $120 and you can redeem an absolutely kawaii Hello Kitty collapsible cup. Tip: if you’re heading to NTUC FairPrice, Q&M, and/or schools, you’ll have to spend a minimum of $220. This is limited to one redemption per shopper per day, and only for the first 5,000 redemptions. Start spending and redeeming, stat!
Oh, and the perks just don’t stop coming. Spend a minimum of $180, and you’ll also redeem a $5 CDL gift voucher, as well as a merchant voucher pack. Similarly, if your spending includes NTUC FairPrice, Q&M, and/or schools, this requires a minimum spend of $280; limited to one redemption per shopper per day, and the first 4,000 redemptions. This also requires at least one $30 receipt from stores in the categories of fashion and accessories, health and beauty, or gifts and hobbies. You’ll have plenty of places to shop from — be spoilt for choice at City Square Mall.
Lots to do and play
That’s not all: rally the whole fam and take on the Eco Quest if you’re up for some fun. Scan the QR codes at four stations located within the mall, and complete four e-activities to see who can emerge victorious as an Eco Champion.
Head to ‘Recycle Right’ near Giordano (L1, #01-27), and test your aim by tossing recycling items into bins. Test your wits at Eco Mind near Bata (L2, #02-34), where you’ll be challenged with a memory game, which dangles various eco tips as a reward. Next, coordinate your motor skills at Eco Tip near Dunlopillo (L3, #03-35), where you’ll have to catch a series of falling items with an eco bag. Lastly, break out your poses for an AR photoshoot near Global Art (L4, #04-23).
Complete all four stations and bust out the most creative AR photo to stand a chance to bag a Hello Kitty hamper worth $128. It’s a win-win! Don’t forget to upload your shots and tag @citysquaremall on Facebook or Instagram to qualify.
Shop all things Sanrio
Can’t get enough? City Square Atrium is taken over by a Sanrio explosion until 26 June 2022, so you can go all out with an adorable range of Sanrio licensed products. What say you to a brand new look for the new school term?
So many things to do, so little time. Have a Sanrio-ly fun time this June holidays at City Square Mall — we’ll see you there!
