To commemorate International Women’s Day in March, this group exhibition hosted by The Private Museum seeks to explore the representation of women in photography and video.
Held in conjunction with Ways of Knowing: Asian and Middle Eastern Women in Photographs, the showcase explores the interpretation of women in the contemporary world through their experiences influenced by their historical, socioeconomical and religious environments. Artists featured include locals Amanda Heng, Iskandar Noor and international names like Oh Soon-Hwa (Korea & Singapore) and Shelly Silver (USA).
Her Image Exhibition runs from 28 March to 25 May
