Store Snoop: Treasure Trove
Scoring one-of-a-kind, statement pieces for the home is no mean feat. So imagine our delight when we ventured into Tanglin Shopping Centre and struck gold at Treasure Trove.
Located on the second floor, the aptly named home décor store showcases tasteful, elegant pieces that will induce a serious case of apartment envy. Its stunning collection of ceramic and metal lamps comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. Our fave? A majestic ceramic lamp with a base shaped like a horse’s head. This unique item will look right at home in a book-lined library.
If you believe that “a happy heart is a happy home”, you’ll find that the store has loads to offer to warm the heart. Many products are from certified fair trade organisations and are eco-friendly, like these runners and placemats made of water hyacinth and vetiver (main image). We were ecstatic when we stumbled on a beautiful Turkish kilim rug and a gorgeous ikat print cushion cover in red silk. Rich, red hues are a big weakness for us!
