Enjoy prosperous feasts this festive season at Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre.
This year, Chinese New Year comes early, and we can’t wait! Excited to get the party started? We’ll let you in on a little secret: Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre’s Window on the Park has lots in store for all your family reunions, friendly catch-ups and gatherings from now till 9 February 2023.
1. Feast your heart out at prosperity buffets
Take it from us: there’s no such thing as a restricted diet when it comes to CNY. Go all out at the prosperity buffets, where you’ll be treated to dishes like wok-fried ‘har lok’ prawn; steamed glutinous rice with dried shrimp, chicken sausage, and mushroom; Taiwanese longevity mee sua with oyster; and roasted marinated chicken with pineapple shoyu sauce.
Even better, visit at dinner to indulge in a seafood bar and a Japanese station with a maki and sushi selection.

2. Celebrate CNY in style
On 21, 22 and 23 January 2023 (CNY eve, as well as days one and two), the prosperity buffets get even bigger and better. Kickstart your festive meal with dishes like pan-fried Shanghai pau with condiments, and stir-fried nian gao with hong kong kailan and garlic.
That’s not all: hype up the festivities with a braised premium pot boasting sea cucumber, sliced abalone, fried fish maw, dried scallop, and roasted duck. Wash it all down with a comforting portion of Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, as well as sweet dumplings (tang yuan).

3. Enjoy an adorable rabbit-themed high tea
A festive high tea, anyone? Have an elegant afternoon affair with the Abundance Bunny high tea, which is filled with small sweet and savoury treats. Try the prawn remoulade in open eclair, golden bak kwa with cheese in croissant, and breaded crab claw with Singapore chilli crab sauce.
Got a sweet tooth? You’ll love the osmanthus jelly with raspberry jelly, pineapple crumble tart, mandarin orange meringue tart, and the unique bak kwa scones.

4. Pamper your guests with exquisite takeaways
CNY sees the opening of doors to family and friends visiting your home, with Chinese idioms rolling off their tongues and Mandarin oranges snug in their palms. If you’re planning a cosy reunion dinner in the comfort of home, why not save yourself the cooking hassle and order in?
Start with a prosperity yusheng ($58++ for salmon, $78++ for abalone, $48++ for vegetarian abalone), topped off with courses like a treasure pot reunion pen cai ($368++), braised American sea cucumber ($98++), and prosperity smoked roasted duck ($88++).
Don’t forget dessert! Dig into traditional nian gao ($28++) or carrot cake ($28++) for a lovely treat.
Gather your fam and clear your calendar to book a table at Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre – it never hurts to plan ahead. The best part? Everything’s halal-certified too. Happy CNY, y’all!
