Catch the dazzling lineup of duos over 3 Sunday evenings performing well-loved jazz standards ranging from swing to bossa nova, including “What a Difference a Day Makes,” “Our Love Is Here to Stay,” and “Stompin’ at the Savoy.” JASS Music Director Jeremy Monteiro, JASS Associate Music Director Weixiang Tan, Kerong Chok, Aya Sekine, Lee Ann Gie, Shawn Letts, Rit Xu, Sean Hong Wei, Joe Lee and Ben Poh will be performing alongside vocalists Louis Soliano, Alemay Fernandez and Siti Nur Iman, in a series of live-streams.
Exuberant and toe-tapping at times, reflective and romantic at others, the repertoire and style will surely appeal to both aficionados and those curious about jazz because of the amazing interpretations of the duos featured. The tunes from “JASS@HOME: Two’s Company” will be released as a digital album in due course.
