Resilience is often described as a strength to cope with challenge – but in times of deep stress, loss, or disruption, what does that really mean? More than just “getting through it,” resilience is about growing through challenges. It’s the capacity to adapt, recover, and stay connected to what matters, even when life feels overwhelming.
In this EQ Café, we’ll explore how emotional intelligence helps us build real, sustainable resilience. By tuning into our emotions, connecting with others, and finding meaning in adversity, we can strengthen ourselves and support one another.
Emotional intelligence (aka “EQ”) means being smarter with feelings — and we can grow EQ by practicing together. EQ Cafés are insightful, engaging sessions for people curious about emotional intelligence to connect and learn together.
In this Café we will discover:
• What does resilience look like in everyday life and how do we grow it?
• What role do emotions play in navigating stress and uncertainty?
• How can emotional intelligence skills help us build inner strength and support resilience in others?
