For the month of November, Equator Art Projects will be hosting artworks produced by two renowned Indonesian artists: J. Ariadhitya Pramuhendra and Wiyoga Muhardanto.
Head to the main gallery to check out Vox clamantis in deserto (biblical reference from the Book of Isaiah, meaning “the voice of one crying out in the wilderness”) – J. Ariadhitya Pramuhendra’s latest exhibition featuring his series of work depicting the aftermath of the world’s destruction which were created using the technique of working with charcoal on canvas.
Proceed to the project room, which will present three-dimensional art pieces from Wiyoga Muhardanto’s Nothing Happens solo show. The works will reflect our urban society’s consumerism culture and attempt to explore the theme of domestic problems experienced by couples.
In addition to exhibitions, both Indonesian artists will participate in an open discussion on Sat 23 Nov (2-3pm) to share about their works and personal experiences.
