1. 1-Altitude: Tipsy Santa
The world’s highest gastro lounge will leave you in high spirits – and we’re not just talking about its location. These folks have brewed their very own Christmas cocktail that’ll pair well with anything on the festive menu. Meet Tipsy Santa, a flavour-filled ride of Aperol, raspberry puree, hibiscus syrup, egg white and lemon juice.

2. Gudsht: Merry Cinna-Nog, Papa Noel’s Negroni and Grinch Juice
The bottled cocktail label gives us a little razzle-dazzle with three new festive cocktails. Fill the buzz with the full-bodied Merry Cinna-Nog, made with cinnamon-infused Auchentoshan Three Wood whiskey, Baileys and disaronno amaretto. Or try Papa Noel’s Negroni with 19.2% ABV! Otherwise, go mellow with Grinch Juice, a zesty mix of Bacardi Negra, Aperol, blue curacao, limoncello and elderflower syrup.

3. Mo Bar: Crystal Holiday
A member of the Asia’s 50 Best Bars family, Mo Bar strides into the party season with Crystal Holiday. This isn’t your average eggnog. Made with an Asian twist, the clarified cocktail is layered with flavour. Order this for an explosion of sweet, spicy and sour notes from Rémy Martin, Mount Gay rum, half-half white chocolate cream, lemon juice, pineapple juice, vanilla coconut cinnamon nutmeg syrup and egg.

4. Tippling Club: Christmas Ritz and Candy Cane Christmas
Cocktails clad in holiday gold and red hues, and spiked with Telmont Réserve Brut – they really know how to treat you right at World’s 50 Best Bar contender Tippling Club. The fine dining restaurant offers two festive cocktails. Christmas Ritz, prepared with cognac, Cointreau, maraschino, lemon and orange zest for garnish; and Candy Cane Christmas, a sprightly mix of port, peach, Brazilian cachaça and lemon. Of course, both drinks are topped with the beautifully balanced Telmont Réserve Brut champagne.

5. Botanico: The Mistletoe
Make merry at this tropical-themed restaurant with The Mistletoe. Bring on the spirit with a heady mix of rose wine and cherry brandy with lemon and grapefruit.

6. Barossa VivoCity: Maker’s Hot Toddy and Black Velvet
Usher in the festivities with Maker’s Mark cocktails. The Maker’s Hot Toddy feels like a warm hug thanks to the cinnamon, honey, lemon flavours uplifted by bourbon whisky. Meanwhile, Black Velvet is a holiday boilermaker of some sort with a special blend of stout and Maker’s Mark.

7. Brass Lion Distillery: Festive Cocktail Making
Sipping on holiday tipples is great but where’s the fun if you can’t mix your own creations? That’s why local distiller Brass Lion Distillery is offering a festive cocktail-making workshop for December. BeGIN with a festive flight of three drinks. Take notes as brand ambassador and award-winning bartender Kino guides you through bar tools and basic techniques. Now comes the fun part: try your hand at muddling, building and shaking two cocktails. Finally, take home a boozy hot chocolate kit. The workshop makes a great Christmas gift, too!

8. Ce La Vi: Ginger Firecracker
We can’t think of any other name for this firecracker of a drink. Inspired by the classic old fashioned with a holiday twist, the cocktail has an interesting mix of Monkey Shoulder whiskey with sweet vermouth, white chocolate, ginger and orange. Definitely one to try!

9. Wildseed Bar: Classic Eggnog and Sloeberry Sparkle
Take your pick from the fan-favourite Classic Eggnog ($18) with the usual suspects of cinnamon, nutmeg, egg white and cream, infused with bourbon. Or try the bubble-filled Sloeberry Sparkle ($22) with Castella moscato.
