A trip to London is always amazing, but make yours infinitely memorable with a sleek and stylish stay at these top hotels.
Oh, London town, there’s nowhere like you, nothing at all, anywhere! Iconic, eccentric, robustly obsessed with all things royal. Not forgetting the melting pot of cultures. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that there’s something unique and historic to be discovered around every corner. We love a good visit to London, which is why we compiled this list of the best, trendy hotels fit for a king (or queen).
Best hotels in London: Our top 10 picks
1. Art’otel London Battersea Power Station: Stunning views for that dopamine hit

Unique and strikingly impressive, the lobby comprises floor-to-ceiling steccawood partitions enveloping colourful art. It’s designed by award-winning Spanish artist and interior designer, Jaime Hayon. There’s so much playful colour to absorb within the 164 rooms on offer, you won’t want to leave. Well-equipped amenities include luxury Egyptian cotton bed linen, Dyson hair dryers, Illy espresso machines, free Wi-Fi, rainfall showers, Kevin Murphy bath products, and more.
Head to the infinity pool overlooking the reconstructed Battersea Power Station where the views are simply divine. And be sure to book a table at Portuguese chef Henrique Sá Pessoa’s Joia Restaurant. The dining experience exceeds all expectations, with Catalonia and Portuguese-inspired dishes designed to be shared. We adored the signature Carabineros prawns served in tomato-infused orzo. And don’t pass over the braised Iberian pork cheek or scrimp on the inventive dessert menu (sherry caramel and chorizo ice cream, anyone?).

2. Chateau Denmark: Overnight escapism in the heart of the after-party

If you’re up for a raving good time with a twist of baroque quirk, check into this London pad. Each room is designed with something special to offer. Ours featured a standalone bathtub, a dancing corner complete with mirror balls, two floor-to-ceiling speakers, and a fully-stocked bar. Trust us when we say everything you need for a good time can be obtained here thanks to your own personal butler.
We loved the injections of dark texturing, leather couches, and block cement walls contrasted with lush velvet curtains, chains and snake prints. The hotel seeps into high-class dungeon territory done with luxurious edgy London tones. Lose yourself here for days or simply make like a pop star and refuse to leave. Food and sexy cocktails come courtesy of smoked Brazilian plates and bites in gothic sanctuary Thirteen, and there’s an intimate basement haunt called Dial8 for private occasions.
For those wanting to explore the outside world, the theatre district, Drury Lane, Covent Garden, and Oxford Street are short walks away. Let’s just say, London is on your doorstep if you can tear yourself away from the darkness.
