Jetstar now has a convenient check-in and bag drop service for a fuss-free travel from Singapore
Changi Airport is known for being the best airport in the world, but snaking queues during check-ins are unfortunately inevitable. It seems the only way to overcome this travel woe on your next adventure is to be first in line the minute counters are open (which never happens for us). But don’t despair! Jetstar has come up with a new check-in option that is super-fast, and stress-free. Music to our ears…
Convenient and superbly easy-to-use, Jetstar’s new self-service kiosk and bag drop allows passengers travelling on selected Jetstar flights (departing from Changi Airport) to beat the queues, giving you more time to swan around the airport. Best part? You only need 60-seconds — yes we actually timed it — to check yourself in. Simply scan your passport, add bags to booking, print your boarding pass and bag tags, and off you go! This nifty service is truly a godsend for last-minute packers like ourselves (you won’t want to know the number of times we nearly miss our flights due to long check-in queues).
Those with checked baggage need not go through the counters, too. Just stick your bag tags on, scan your boarding pass, place bags on the designated baggage belt, inject the bag and, voila, you’re all set to tear apart the duty-free stores in the terminal.
If you’re not sure about visa requirements, you can use the document check service at the designated location for quick document and visa verification. Those travelling with babies, in groups of above seven people, or require special services (such as extra seats and wheelchair help), head to the check-in counter to ensure all your needs are well met and you have a good start to your holiday.
Jetstar’s self-service kiosk and bag drop is available across 18 flight routes including Darwin and Denpasar (Bali). Whoop! Jetstar Australia (JQ), Jetstar Pacific and Jetstar Asia (3K) flights to Japan, Yangon and Manila are currently not on the list, but we sure hope they will be added soon!
Visit Jetstar for more information on their self-service kiosk check-in.
