Art fairs are almost always held at large, open spaces, but Bank Art Fair is heading a completely different direction for its debut showcase in Singapore at – you’d probably never have guessed – Pan Pacific Hotel. And no, it’s not going to be in the sprawling and glitzy ballrooms or the grand lobby: participating galleries are displaying their works within a hotel room.
Happening from 20 to 23 November 2014 and previously held for the first time in Hong Kong, the second edition of Bank Art Fair brings together young, emerging artists from over 50 galleries, whose collectible works range from USD1,000 to USD10,000.
Each participating gallery will occupy a room to display their specially curated pieces, with the hopes that the intimate setting can help to bridge the gap between the artwork and the collector. You’ll get a sense of how a potential buy might look in your home, too.
Tickets can be purchased at the Pan Pacific Hotel Lobby.
