This weekend is your last chance to try 4XFOUR, Singapore’s largest pop-up dining experience. It will go out with a bang, starring Alvin Leung (19-23 Nov), the genius holding the reins of Bo Innovation in Hong Kong. No stranger to pushing limits (he was trained as an engineer), Chef Leung’s brand of Xtreme Chinese cuisine is out to thrill you gourmands. Wrap your tastebuds around molecular Xiao Long Bao (steamed pork dumplings) and foie gras with mui choy (preserved Chinese mustard green).
Truffle season is still going strong! As part of the Asian Masters series, Mandarin Oriental’s Cherry Garden is serving up a decadent seven-course spread of truffle-laced Cantonese dishes- exclusively on 29 Nov. The feast wouldn’t be complete without the fine burgundies sourced from Domaine Nicolas Potel and Domaine Benjamin Leroux.
Sip on award-winning Feral craft beer, and tuck into hearty true-blue Australian cuisine, at Intrepid Gastro Bar. This one-night-only five-course dinner will feature pan-seared blue swimmer crab cakes (matches well with Feral white beer), crispy pork belly with smoked pea puree (pairs perfectly with Feral hop hog pale ale), and prosciutto-wrapped king prawns for the seafood lovers.
Shake off the Monday blues at ME@OUE’s Industria Monday nights. Relish all-night-long (starting 5pm) happy hour prices, groove to rad beats from some of the finest local DJs, and soak in the picturesque Singapore skyline from the outdoor lounge. The fun isn’t just limited to Mondays, mind you!
