On a low budget this year? These cheap electronics in Hong Kong will keep you happy
Good day shopaholics! We’ve already got you covered when it comes to men’s footwear, stylish watches and camera accessories, but this one is for the tech lovers. Here’s, where to buy cheap electronics Hong Kong, from Wan Chai to Sham Shui Po.
1. Sai Yeung Choi South Street
Whether you are looking for tiny electronic parts like earphones and chargers or big electronics retailers like Broadway and Fortress, Sai Yeung Choi South Street has got everything. We like the fact that the street is very close to MTR exits and has all kinds of shops and restaurants, making it a great place to chill around with friends too.

2. Sin Tat Plaza
When it comes to buying phone-related products, Sin Tat Plaza definitely has the best deals in town. From brand new iPhones, SIM cards, phone cases to phone chargers, Sin Tat Plaza has everything you need. The ground floor is basically packed with phone stores, but you’ll probably might find some shops that sell shoes, comics and toys on the second and third floors too.

3. Mong Kok Computer Centre
Opened in 1991, Mong Kok Computer Centre is the first computer-themed shopping centre in Mong Kok. You can find a variety of PC, keyboards, softwares and external hard disks from brands like Acer, Lenovo and Alienware. The staff there are very knowledgeable about computers and advise on the best products for you based on your needs.

4. Golden Building
Golden Building consists of two parts: Golden Computer Arcade and Golden Computer Centre. The former is located on the ground floor and basement floor, mostly selling computer software. The latter is on the first floor and focuses more on computer hardware. Since the two parts are not connected, make sure you know where you are heading before entering the building.

5. Wan Chai Computer Centre
Due to its convenient location, Wan Chai Computer Centre is our favourite place to buy external hard disks and software. You can find all kinds of electronic products here, such as laptops, camera lenses, tripods and second-hand Macs. Despite being in the Central Business District, a lot of electronics here are very reasonably priced, sometimes even cheaper than the ones in Sham Shui Po.

6. CC Wu Building
As a mixed commercial building, electronic shops are fairly dispersed within CC Wu Building. This might not be the best place to shop big items like computers, but you can find smaller things like USBs, cables, adapters and monitors. Since CC Wu Building is located in between Wan Chai and Causeway Bay, you might have to walk a little from the MTR. Alternatively, you can jump on the tram directly outside.

We’ve bought Wii games here before and loved the huge selections available. Oriental 188 Shopping Centre is also located on the main street, so it is very easy to find.
