Are you keeping an eye on upcoming Hong Kong concerts and music festivals in Asia? Because we’re stoked about the Shi Fu Miz Festival 2019. Returning on 4-5 May for its spring edition this year, the two-day arts and music festival will once again take place at the gorgeous Sai Yuen Camping and Adventure Park in Cheung Chau.
The spring edition of Shi Fu Miz Festival 2019 returns this May
Brought to you by the passionate FuFu team and the collective La Mamie’s, the Shi Fu Miz Festival 2019 features an amazing array of house and soulful oriented musical programmes. This year, you can expect to catch internationally-renowned as well as underground DJs such as Levon Vincent, Palms Trax, La Mamie’s, Kuniyuki (live), Orpheu The Wizard, Kamma & Masalo, Pablo Valentino and many more.
Going beyond live music, there will also be a wide variety of fun and sustainable cultural activities, including tattoos, street art, eco-talks, workshops, yoga lessons and even beach cleaning sessions. Festival goers will be asked to bring their own bottles to get free water; plastic bags for rubbish bins will be replaced by biodegradable bags; even the stages are built with recycled materials, and we’re all about these initiatives!
Dedicated to promoting the zero plastic waste goal, because single-use plastic in Hong Kong is a real problem, the Shi Fu Miz Festival hopes to influence public behaviour in an artistic and experiential setting – the spirit of the well-being is the keyword for the Shi Fu Miz team!
Happening at the beautiful Sai Yuen Camping and Adventure Park – an outdoor adventure playground situated on over 11 acres of land on the Southwestern tip of Cheung Chau – it’s the ideal location for music lovers to escape the hustle and bustle and relax with your friends and family.
