There's nothing nicer than watching the sea as you enjoy a lovely meal, and Anchor's in Tsuen Wan is the perfect spot for boat watching and buffets
It’s got to be said that the people of Hong Kong love a smorgasbord. Dinner buffets are always packed, and even some of the best brunches in the city offer all-you-can-eat options. And if you’re looking for somewhere with sea views as well as an overflowing buffet selection in Tsuen Wan, then Anchor’s is the place to be.
Anchor’s in Tsuen Wan (CLOSED 2019)
Situated inside Bay Bridge Hong Kong by Hotel G, Anchor’s is just a five minute drive from central Tsuen Wan and offers wonderful views of the harbour. The restaurant serves a great buffet dinner with a big emphasis on seafood and freshness. Expect a selection of wonderfully fresh shellfish, including freshly-shucked oysters, mussels, and crab, plus a sushi and sashimi bar.
Of course, there’s more than just seafood at Anchor’s. We loved the made to order Thai Papaya Salad, which we made EXTRA spicy and delectable, and the great range of antipasto available, perfect for vegetarians who like to whip up their own salad.

For people who have a sweet tooth (or teeth!), the dessert selection will be your fave part of the buffet. Start off at the chocolate fountain, before choosing from a huge selection of Movenpick ice cream. There are macarons in every flavour imaginable, and a range of cakes, tarts and pies. And let’s not forget about those made-to-order waffles – delicious!
