Funky foodie haven opens in Legian
Take a wander outside the usual Seminyak hotspots and venture on to some ‘sacred ground’. Here you’ll find a brand new cafe nestled within the Legian area packed with, not only some of the best coffee in Bali, but the kind of memorable gastronomic fare you’d find in a bustling cosmopolitan city.
Honestly, we feel quite chuffed to have found this quaint cafe tucked away in a place that that was really calling for something just like this. Mixing traditional Balinese with modern design has birthed three separate and enchanting spaces to enjoy, relax, and recharge- you can even rent the space out for your next event! We particularly loved their raised lounge deck area that housed comfy bean bags and low tables.
The peaceful cafe is owned by an Aussie pair – twin brothers who have created a seamless operation by combining their skill sets: Rob’s the master chef who’s delighting your tastebuds, and Steve’s the mastermind behind the marketing and branding of one of the coolest new joints in Bali.
These boys haven’t kept quiet about the fact that they worship their coffee (their “morning ritual” board says it all), and thank goodness! You’ll find one of the best cups of joe in Bali right here. Revolver Coffee is the magic behind that flawless kick and incredibly smooth finish.
Let’s talk grub. From superfood granola that’s packed with layers of coconut flakes and goji berries, to their cumin spiced, slow roasted lamb bagel and brilliantly crafted wood-fired pizzas, they’ve got a great menu and do all day breakfast, which we love. If you’re looking for a bump of sweet to top off your meal, go for the french toast that’s drizzled with cinnamon and coconut sap honey – um, yes please!
