First in Asia: Victoria Beckham X On Pedder
The iconic Victoria Beckham hit town over the weekend to present her Spring/Summer 2014, Pre-Autumn/Winter 2014 and ICON collections. A first for her brand in Singapore – in partnership with On Pedder, a full presentation of the collections took place Saturday and this evening she will delight select guests at an intimate meet and greet. Can you tell we’re jealous?
<Sigh>. So chic, so lovely- Mrs. Beckham really never disappoints. Almost six years since her dazzling launch at NYFW, her brand has come to stop at Marina Bay Sands. At a small and exclusive event at one of the galleries in the ArtScience Museum on 10 May, Victoria unveiled a personal edit of her Spring/Summer 14 and Pre-Fall collections to a fashion hungry guest list of 80. Catwalks and cocktails at an art gallery- so timeless!
Living right up to her fabulously fun reputation, the former Spice Girl sang a number with hairdresser Ken Paves at the event and even took a spin at the turntables!
Why we love her
Aside from always looking fab, we just adore the Brit’s loveable personality. When asked why she came to Singapore, her response was “to drink champagne and go shopping.” Sounds like our kind of girl.

Fashion with a heart
As part of the event, the label has joined a prestigious group of celebrities who have participated in the silent auction presented by Marina Bay Sands. Victoria has contributed an accessory that will help to raise funds for the upcoming Sands for Singapore Festival, which provides financial aid to local families and support for youth with special needs .
And she isn’t the first Beckham to participate in the Marina Bay Sands corporate responsibility programme- last year, her husband helped to launch the Festival.
What’s Next on the #VBTOUR
At another private VIP event this evening 12 May at On Pedder, Victoria will present her exclusive and reworked accessories and eyewear collections which include four limited edition (and drool worthy!) bags in gorgeous shades of pale pink pictured above.
Sadly, we can’t keep her forever, and she continues on to Jakarta tomorrow.
