The perfect blend of French luxury and contemporary flair, this five-star destination offers an array of magical settings for your nuptials: whether it’s the private cliff-top lawn at Spice Island Point, opulent ballrooms, ilLido at the Cliff (complete with a lavish banquet spread of your choice) or better yet, one of Sofitel Singapore Sentosa’s four private villas that are perfect for hen’s nights, cocktail soirées, and intimate ceremonies. Indeed, this is picture-perfect luxury at its finest.
UNA at One Rochester
Spanish restaurant UNA is a lush haven for city dwellers seeking to revel in their newfound nuptials away from the busy city. Situated in a colonial bungalow in the One Rochester enclave, the restaurant serves up sizzling Spanish flavours, including tapas and paellas. The stunning space is also furnished with two dining concepts: an alfresco garden space with glass trellises and cosy gazebos, and a swanky tapas bar upstairs.

The main dining area is eclectic and otherworldly, with its long, rustic tables and stained glass windows. Meanwhile, the alfresco area, with its lush greenery and garden furniture, is très Alice-in-Wonderlandesque. Packages here are for intimate solemnisations or smaller affairs.

When we think of the words “holy matrimony”, chapel weddings at CHIJMES Hall come to mind. It is, after all, a beautifully restored early 19th century Gothic chapel (and a national monument!). The high ceilings and intricately-stained glass windows will have your guests feeling both awe-struck, and as if they’re part of history. Bonus: it’s located right in the heart of the city.
Hotel Fort Canning
Celebrate your coupling at Hotel Fort Canning’s getaway within the city. Choose from an intimate poolside gathering at the Jasmine Ballroom or a larger venue, the Lavender ballroom. Both offer stunning floor-to-ceiling windows, or go for the whole she-bang at the 460-seater Legends Ballroom. Top it off with a stroll to the lobbyside centuries-old artefacts exhibit.
Burkill Hall is a two-storey restored colonial bungalow that sits inside the National Orchid Garden at the Botanic Gardens. Does it get more idyllic than this for flower lovers? The garden is a picturesque spot for solemnisation (think of the selfies!), while the colonial setting spells romance under the stars.
