Synthony debuts in Singapore with an epic production. Come celebrate 30 years of dance music with a show-stopping setlist of electronic jams performed by the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, vocalists and DJs.
The endless slew of live music acts and concerts in Singapore is making us hedonists a happy bunch. Next up, the highly popular live music event, Synthony, is arriving at our shores on 29 October. Yup, the countdown has officially begun! Expect a symphony of electronic dance music, DJs and a live orchestra rocking it out at The Float@Marina Bay. Talk about a medley of music genres coming together for a fun, musical night. Here’s what to expect.
Synthony: The live music extravaganza debuts in Singapore

With sold-out performances across Australia and New Zealand, and as the official entertainment for the Tour de France Prudential Singapore Criterium (France’s famed bicycle race), you can bet this concert’s going to be one of the biggest live music events this year. Vibe hard to 30 years of global dance anthems and electronic dance-pop bangers by Avicii, Tiesto, Fatboy Slim and many more, reimagined by talented vocalists, DJs, musicians, and with Singapore’s Metropolitan Festival Orchestra (MFO).
Entertaining acts for a night of revelry? You bet!

DJ Patrick Lewis, popularly known by his stage name, Lenerd will be opening the event with a dizzying club mix of hip-hop, EDM, house beats and more. Ardent nightlife lovers will recognise Lenerd. A stalwart in his craft, Lenerd has made quite a name in the industry, whether it was for helming the decks at Zouk, his signature open-format style, or most notably, creating #SGBassMusic. This movement has since evolved into Revelry, a collective that spotlights local DJs.
When we think of orchestras, the sound of classical music comes to mind. MFO is a little different. The group believes that the orchestra is an influential medium for bringing people together. They’ve even performed at the Southeast Asian premieres for movie-concerts of Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter film franchises. What a treat for fans!
Pair that musical talent with immersive visuals in technicolour, a laser show, and the glitzy views of Singapore’s cityscape, and you’re in for a night of music euphoria. From the looks of recent sold-out events, concerts and live performances in Singapore, Synthony’s expected to draw music fans from all over the city.
So, are you ready for a night of musical entertainment?
