FOST Gallery presents Surreal Reality, an exhibition that focuses on black and white images of renowned American photographer Rodney Smith.
Using only natural light, Smith shoots primarily on black and white film and apart from colour correcting, he doesn’t retouch photographs.
The amazing part? Although his photographs are perfectly composed, Smith works in a highly spontaneous way, with poses and placements decided ten minutes before the shot is taken.
