
Featuring conductor Lan Shui and violinist Gil Shaham, look forward to a night of melodic earworms, in tribute to the legendary German composer Richard Strauss.
This month-long festival will showcase four groups of artists and their interpretations of Strauss’s masterpieces. The festival kicks off on 4 Jan with Gil Shaham returning to join the SSO and Lan Shui for Bright Sheng’s Violin Concerto and Strauss’ Ein Heldenleben (“A Hero’s Life”).
