The musical features a talented team of theatre veterans including Adrian Pang (reprising the role of Lee Kuan Yew) and Sebastian Tan; music by Singapore’s iconic musician and composer Dick Lee, lyrics by Laurence Olivier Award winner Stephen Clark, and direction by London West End director Steven Dexter.
Singaporean singer Kit Chan will don a new avatar as Kwa Geok Choo, Lee Kuan Yew’s wife. Those who watched the 2015 musical will remember that Sharon Au played this prominent role.
