Immerse in dazzling performances and endless revelry
Usher in a star-studded holiday with performances from global sensations at the resort. Kicking off the concert line-up on 16 December is mega phenomenon Jessica Jung, who will be performing hip-shaking numbers and stunning choreography at her solo concert, Diamond Dreams. The revelry continues on 17 December as Australia’s Thunder From Down Under presents an electrifying interactive dance show. To round it off, mandopop star William So will take the stage on 23 December with his biggest hits and ballads at his Love Story concert.
All for supporting our homegrown talents? Swing by AVE8 for the hottest up-and-coming local acts all December, including the likes of Mathilda D’Silva and bilingual band Uber Duber. Come 3 January 2024, dance day and night away with Thailand’s biggest names in rock, rave and more at the electrifying 555 Thai Music Festival. With performances from PP Krit, Billkin and rock band Potato, you’ll be jetting off to the Land of Smiles in no time.
Step into gourmet paradise with an array of festive feasts
There’s always a good reason to feast; especially with A Star-studded Feastival at Resorts World Sentosa. Relish the taste of the holidays with the Starry Night Yuletide Delights menu from Osia Steak and Seafood Grill. Featuring the finest meats and seafood, the decadent menu includes the grilled seafood platter and Angus beef wellington. Or, take Christmas dining to the next level at Ocean Restaurant, where you can feast on a sumptuous seafood spread (think succulent king crab and buttery oven-baked wagyu beef) while watching manta rays and reef sharks swim about you.
For holiday feasting with an Asian flair, you can’t miss the merry menu at Feng Shui Inn that blends Cantonese faves with classic festive ingredients, as well as Chifa’s delightful twist on Peruvian-Chinese cuisine. Be sure to give the tantalising feasts at Michelin-starred table65, Japanese fine-dining spot Syun and Thai restaurant Soi Social a go, too!
If you’re looking for a photo-worthy culinary haven, make haste to Gourmet Park – Singapore’s largest food truck and container park. Here, enticing food options, alongside performances from acapella carolers, buskers and DJs await. Feast on elevated local and international street food from award-winning chefs. We’re eyeing the juicy plant-based burgers from The Goodburger, artisanal wanton mee from Chun Noodle Bar and buttery seafood rolls from Luke’s Lobster. For that sugar craving, our top picks are doughnuts from Spank My Dough and refreshing smoothies from Jamba.
Wanna bring the festivities home? Resorts World Sentosa’s extensive takeaway options have got you covered, too. Beyond savoury staples like roast turkey, hickory maple-glazed gammon ham and crumbed baby lamb rack, satisfy your sweet tooth with artisanal chocolates, classic log cakes, sticky date toffee pudding and a show-stopping 60cm-tall chocolate tree. Psst: we hear they are available for pre-orders on Oddle, too!
Gear up for activities galore
Thrill-junkie or not, you’ll wanna witness the dazzling transformation of Universal Studios Singapore into a holiday haven. Come join DreamWorks’ Trolls as they throw a tree-trimming party complete with music and dancing; or visit Santa’s North Pole headquarters and follow along on his yearly present delivery. Plus, you’ll get to catch your fave characters – like Illumination’s Minions, the Penguins of Madagascar, as well as Po and Master Tigress – dressed in the jolliest ‘fits, experience thrilling rides, tuck into festive food and more, at A Universal Christmas!
Over at the S.E.A. Aquarium, step into A Christmas Oddysea with meaningful art exhibitions from neurodiverse artists, including students from Rainbow Centre. Experience an underwater holiday season through the young artists’ eyes, as they reimagine festive celebrations of these marine animals. And while you’re there, put your creativity to the test with curated colouring sheets at the aquarium.
Or, pedal to the beat at the Minmed Cycle Pop-up, held every Thursday evening from now till 21 December – it’ll be a memorable sweat sesh with a magnificent view of the Ocean Gallery. Come 29 December, join the Candlelight string quartet as they perform well-loved music by renowned composer Joe Hisaishi against the mesmerising backdrop of the aquarium’s open ocean habitat.
It goes without saying that photo opportunities are aplenty at this holiday wonderland. Look out for dazzling Christmas lights, spectacular stargates, as well as adorable Bunnyverse characters dressed as snow buddies and elves. Oh, and you can’t miss the spectacular Christmas Tree of Wonders that sits next to Gourmet Park. This 10m-tall centrepiece comes aglow with spectacular daily lights and music shows, which run every 30 minutes between 5.30pm and 9.30pm, so get your cameras ready!
Ready to herald in the season of merrymaking in style? The all-in-one holiday destination, Superstar Christmas by Resorts World Sentosa, is the place to be. It’s free to enter for all – with ticketed entry for specific attractions and concerts – so come join in the festivities from now till 3 January next year!
