Hotel restaurants aren’t what they used to be – gone are the days of uninspiring creations, predictable flavours, and exorbitant prices. In case you haven’t noticed, our dining scene is now teeming with hip (and Michelin-approved) restos that are found in the most unexpected places. If you’re curious about these stellar dining spots, check out Your Culinary Affair from now ‘til 30 June, a brand new platform where you’ll be paired with a restaurant that complements your palette.
The well-known hospitality group and its eight properties around the country are home to some pretty awesome restaurants (17 to be exact), but don’t take our word for it. Instead, we say swing by these places with your hungry pals and suss them out yourselves. We’ll be here waiting to say “We told you so!”.
Where to begin?
Good question, but Marriott International’s way ahead of you. Whether it’s a casual international buffet or a fine dining experience at a European outlet, take the Culinary Matchmaker test to decide which restaurants you should visit. The fun personality quiz lets you figure out your own profile and matches you with the restaurants that suit your personal taste.
There are five profiles, so depending on your answers, you may end up getting ‘Adventurer’ if you love exotic and unique bites, ‘Hands-on Artist’ for fans of Chef’s Table, or ‘Sophisticated’ if you’ve got a refined palette. There’s also the ‘Classicist’, aka those who prefer tradition over innovation, and the ‘Fun Lover’, who appreciates a buzzing ambience and great atmosphere. Who knows what you’ll get?

Here’s the really cool bit: If you make your bookings through Your Culinary Affair’s official website, you’ll receive a complimentary Chef’s Special with the meal.
With 17 restaurants participating in this delicious celebration of food and venues, we can only imagine all the amazing surprises waiting for you with each reservation you make!
