We have been lucky enough to personally try out this divine resort (its a tough job) and as hard as it is to believe, the Six Senses resort lives up to its reputation (and photos!)
When you stay at Six Senses, you can choose between Beach Villas with private access to the white sandy beaches, or Water Villas that are fitted with sunken glass bathtubs that look straight down into the crystal clear waters below. Of course we had to try both, and personally we recommend the beach villas – as there is nothing quite like waking up and taking a stroll on that white white sand.
The Six Senses Spa is absolutely divine and one of the best that the Maldives has to offer. Diving and snorkeling in the surrounding coral reefs is also superb and we highly recommend taking one of the resort’s private boats out for a sunset cruise and watching the dolphins swim alongside. We were lucky enough to see dophins from the bar while sipping on our sundowners. While Six Senses Laamu is a fantastic resort for couples due to the privacy of the villas, it’s also great for families with a special play Den – supervised at all times for kids of all ages to enjoy. Hallelujah to that!
