Sad news for those looking forward to seeing Lykke Li at the upcoming Laneway Festival 2015: the Swedish indie-pop star has pulled out of the tour, citing health reasons.
“It’s been a long time coming, but unfortunately tour life has caught up with me, and it’s been recommended that I take a break. I’m devastated, but I know I will return. Thank you for all the support, and I sincerely hope I can make it up to you at a later date,” she says in a press statement.
Well, the consolation is that English producer Jon Hopkins, who was slated to perform in Singapore at the previously cancelled Hostess Club Weekender, will be taking over Lykke Li at Laneway Festival 2015.
