How do I save an article?
First things first: you’ll need to register or sign into your Honeycombers account. If you’re on desktop, you’ll see a heart icon at the top-right of the image when you mouse over a post.
If you’re on mobile or tablet, click through to the article, and hit “save article”.
Once you hit “save”, you’ll be prompted to put the article into an existing folder, or you can create a new one if you do not have any.
How do I create a new folder?
There are two ways to do this: one is to click on the “Create New” button when you save an article.
Then, give your new folder a name on the next screen. You may also add a description for more information.
Another way is to through your Honeycombers account. After you’ve signed in, head to your account by clicking on your name at the top right of the navigation bar. Once in, you’ll see a box labelled “Create your own folder”. Click that and you’ll get to the “Add new folder” screen to include more information.
Where can I see my saved items?
You’ll be able see everything you’ve saved, organised into the dedicated folders you’ve created, in your Honeycombers account. Select a folder to see its content!
How do I delete the article that I’ve saved?
Got an article in the wrong folder? To remove it, go into the folder, and click on “Edit” located beside the folder’s name.
In the next screen, you’ll be able to see a list of items that’s in the folder. Click on the orange checkbox(es) to remove item(s) from the list. When you’re done, click “Update”. You may also delete the folder from your account here.
Who can see what I’ve saved?
It depends! In the screen above, you can see options to set your folder public. If you select “No” (the default setting), your folders will be private. If you set it public (by selecting “yes”), you’ll be able to share that folder to your friends via email, social media or chat by copying the URL of the folder (eg. http://thehoneycombers.com/singapore/folder/hot-new-tables).
